Bought this unit so that we could have hot food at a wedding reception. Worked GREAT! Until the caterer decided that they didn't like the setup and removed the framework and sterno cans and left the hot food on the table to get cold during the actual wedding service, and by the time the reception got started, the food was cold mush. Can't blame the product...only the stupid caterer. Otherwise, it was an easy setup, and we just sacrificed the food holding pans to the garbage can and took the rest home. Will replace with new food holding pans the next time I use it. Is a great idea and functional...but you can't fix stupid. cmz :-(

During the Holidays,these are so worth having.You bake in them,then put them in the chafing sets with the little fires under.When dinner is all done there's no dishes to do.Throw aluminum containers away.Easy breezey! So much easier.

Everything you need (except the lighter) is in the box, and the correct size pans for the rack. I originally purchased aluminum pans on sale at the store, then just a rack, but the pans are not the correct size. Bad purchase for me. The kit is perfect.

I bought these for an outdoor buffet party. They are a little flimsy, but not so much that they can't be re-used. They hold plenty of food and the sternos worked fine without burning the bottoms. I placed a few slabs of wood beneath the sternos so as not to damage the table beneath. I bought 2 of these We had wings in 2 of the containers, corn on the cob and sweet rolls in the others Folded them up and are ready for the next buffet party!

Note: Chef reviewer I purchased this when I was asked to make arroz con pollo ( rice with chicken) for a friend’s birthday and didn’t have the time to run the local restaurant supply. I was serving 10# of arroz con pollo in this pan. Set up was easy, Sterno was easy to open and light(you will need a lighter)got hot and stayed hot the entire party. I would suggest a sturdier serving utensil than the one supplied, if you are going to be serving something heaving like I was, since it broke for me. Good value for money spent, was sturdy, held up to children and adult, heavy use.

Even better than I thought as 2 aluminum dishes will fit sideways if you are serving fewer people

It came with the pans bent it took some tweaking and was a little wobbly other than that it did it's job.
