Magne Rod 8.75 to 15.75-Inch Sash Magnetic Cafe Rods, Ivory

They come in a package of 2. I've been using them for about a month or more. They are made of plastic which is OK, but the material used makes them seem flimsy. I use them in my kitchen for kitchen drying towels so I use them often. Cons: The flimsy construction kept coming apart. First the bars would separate in the middle, although they are adjustable. Then the bar would come out of the end caps. I had to fix them by using super glue and putting it back together. Then they never failed again. The next issue I had was the end magnetic holders did not stand-off far enough to hang or take off my towels. The distance between the surface that I have them mounted on and the hanging rod is only about 1.12" out. This seems too narrow a distance to insert or hang towels without knocking the rod off my refrigerator. Then the rod and my towel both go on the floor. This holder is a replacement to a previous plastic magnetic holder that would break often.

These curtain rods are amazing! I was quite surprised at how extremely well they hold up on metal. I ordered a couple pairs, one pair for curtains around my front door, which have not moved in any way shape or form since installing them ( which takes literally all of 2 seconds with the strong magnets that they include). The other pair were in my kitchen for hand towels, and with all the use they have still not budged, even with the weight of wet towels and oven mitts hanging on them at the same time! The padding on the magnets also keeps everything looking brand new!! Which is great considering I just moved in and am still moving furniture around, so if I decide to move them to a new spot, I wont have to deal with any holes that I would of had to drill using a conventional curtain rod. Also they come with velcro strips so Im not constrained to where I place them. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this to anyone in need a good product.

Fast delivery. Convenient curtain rod to magnetically stick to my steel office door (where I can't use screws). However, the sides could have been engineered to have a more snug fit. If anyone leans against the door or snatches the door open to fast causing a strong enough wind draft the pole comes out of the side piece and the curtain has to be adjusted and the side added back on. It serves my purpose though where no other options exist...so I give it high ratings.

These cafe rods work fine for what I intended. I actually use them as towel racks in my kitchen (on the refrigerator and a metal cabinet). They are all plastic, except for the magnets, so I'm not sure how long the sectioned sliding bar itself will last. They do expand, but if you extend them to the listed 15.75", they will separate. I imagine they would be perfect if you don't need them to be more than 15" MAX from outside edge to outside edge.

The magnets hold very well, but it did come with plenty of adhesive stickers also. The rod expanded exactly as needed and holds more than just the sheerest of drapes. See picture. The material I used was a light taffeta, but definitely heavier than the sheerest material.The only downside is how easily the rods separate, so if you have too much material on the rod, you may have difficulty holding the rods together.

It's on my dishwasher. I use it for a dish towel. Magnet holds pretty good. I Gorilla glued it at its smallest to give it some sturdiness. The color is not my favorite. It's says ivory but it's more a beige shade. What I called nicotine white... But it's all subjective I guess...

Works like a charm

Works well enough to hold my sheer curtain beside our front door. However, we knock it down often because the magnets are not strong enough to hold if you bump into them.
