Must buy!
Amazing product! Highly recommended it install with ease. Can be a bit tight to get joints to line up at first but once they’re in they’re in. So you know they have a great fit, no leaks!

"Dura" needs to make sure that their products fit better, but....
Overall, it's a good product, especially for the price. The only issue is that not all "dura" products fit together the way they should. Our contractor had to do some minor "crimping" on the ends of the various pipes and fittings to get it to all fit together, and even then, some of them are either too tight or not tight enough. The Good: - Easy to install overall - Looks good (see the pic) The Bad: - Not all connections fit seamlessly, so adjustments may be needed Overall: We like it! It's installed and looks good in the space.

Worked for my wood stove. These wood burning fireplaces come without instructions and as each home is different due to various sizes and distances to walls and ceilings, this product made installation much easier. I had contractors and handymen tell me they would get a cheaper pipe and cut it and the thought of cutting metal with a saw and leaving shavings was just ridiculous. This product made installation a cinch and coupled with a few other pipes we were able to have an easy install. The pipes at chimney and stove need to be properly fitted with correct adapters. And we also used high temperature silicone to seal. Lot of pieces to fit together but finally it worked.

Hi still using the first telescoping pipe I brought from you, I purchased the second one for a spare since this is the main source of heat for our home. We use wood to start off the cold season then go to coal such nice heat. We have base board electric heat but would rather use the buck stove #24 here's a picture. I am one to have to have a spare, this is the easiest pipe to install since all you do is connect it to the collar with the screws provided and slide it down to the stove collar and connect it with some self taping screws then put the screws in provided about halfway up the pipe to secure it, then your done. You must burn a hot fire with the Windows open the first time to hot cure the paint cause it will sink a bit, but after that bring it on old man winter cause we're ready for him. Thanks for a great product at a great price, it also came very quick!

Bad smell at temps above 300 F
The telescoping stove pipe is good looking, very functional, and a great solution for our stove. BUT the DuraVent company desperately needs to start "baking" their finished stove pipes at the end of manufacture. The company warns you that you get a smell "like paint" the first few times you have a fire - but this is an understatement. We have used the stove pipe for several weeks - and at every fire around 300 F, there is a chemical smell that comes off the pipe. It is noticeable throughout the house. It does not smell healthy. This could have been avoided if DuraVent had heated their stove pipes to burn off the chemicals at the end of manufacturing!

Pipe is well made and the two sections slide easily past each other
The pipe fit perfectly between my 25 year old wood stove (Consolidated Dutchwest) and the old ceiling penetration. My final length was to within an inch or so of the maximum advertised for this product. Pipe is well made and the two sections slide easily past each other, without binding. After several fires, the paint is still in mint condition - no discoloration, though there was minor smoking for a couple of hours during the first fire. There is no problem with smoke from the fire leaking between the two pipe sections. The only negative, which is not significant, is that the instructions are not clear as to which piece is the top, and which is the bottom - after fussing a bit, I figured that the smaller diameter piece is the upper one.
