Seems good,I do like the fact that the terminals are covered, and mounting would be a breeze,I tested this unit it works, however I won't use it until my other one goes bad,but we camp in the wilderness so a backup on hand is just great practice

Very high quality "kill" switch. I used it to separate my trolling motor batteries to elinate slow drain and allow for charging with a 12v charger. A 24 volt charger was way more expensive. Works perfectly as intended.

Added this to our camper so the radio and Co2 detector wouldn't drain the battery down while in storage. It feels very durable and is made of high quality material. I installed it on the side of my battery box by reversing the mounting bolts. It is very easy to tell by looking if the switch is on or off. Hooking it up was very simple with the addition of a battery cable to go between the switch and battery. I especially liked the removable sides which make it very versatile to mount in any orientation

Pretty robust/chunky heavy metal here folks. It will definitely handle some current, and should last quite a good long while. There's not much to go wrong. The coating on the metal appears good quality, not chintzy at all. Large bolts/studs, you're medium eye connectors might not be big enough, but always good to be overkill on gage, right!?So many ways to use this, but as a general rule, try to place as close to your battery source as possible--this just helps to ensure you have no other bleeds/consumers of your battery, and that you get them all, 100% of the time. If you relocate the switch further away, you can be successful, but trust me, there'll come a day when it's just too convenient to wire a new thing directly to the battery and bypass the switch--so just save yourself that future dilemma and make this switch the FIRST and ONLY connected device to your battery. Use a low gage jumper from the positive post to the switch, something like 8 or 10 gage for regular accessories, or maybe even lower if you're going to run a Trolling motor.Either way you wire this, you can count on it. Not much more you can ask of a cutoff, good connectivity for low and high amperage uses. Easy to use, easy on the wallet, easy to install. Great Value for it's functionality.
