Bonide B07CG8XHC3 Products 506 Poison Ivy and Oak Killer, 32-Ounce-2 Pack, Multicolor

When I first researched this item I read reviews that said “it doesn’t work”. Obviously that’s a huge deterrent when a product doesn’t work for its intended purpose. But we found others saying it’s highly effective when used per the instructions.Our wooded 2 acres have been overtaken gradually by poison Ivy and Poison oak but we didn’t want to shotgun blast the issue with heavy chemicals that end up in the ecosphere since we have a chemical free environment.We used scissors and a little bottle and brush with Glyphosate but it was just too much work. Could not keep up so we looked for a localized alternative that would be targeted for the Ivy’s and less poisonous to plants and animals around it.This item works by spraying a misting on the Poison Ivy leaves. We only listed and didn’t soak. We also made sure to do it when the leaves didn’t have morning dew on them and there was no rain predicted for 48 hours.We only sprayed so we could see the leaves were covered and let it dry in.It takes a few weeks. Yea weeks. You’ll see the leaves start dropping and hanging within 2 or 3 days as the poison gets transported to the root system. Free 5 days they are completely flat, hanging down. Fast forward a few weeks and it is completely brown and dead all the way to the root. Not a single survivor and not a single new one. The stems are so dry you can simply step on them and they break like dried brush.We have sprayed about 200 linear feet so far. Along our driveway and around our pond which both were completely covered in poison Ivy. That was in June. We’re in Mid August and not a trace it was ever there.Excellent product but follow instructions. It’s poison so treat it as such sparingly and it’ll do it’s targeted job. Not a single other plant was lost.

It was difficult to spray the weeds because of the arthritis in my hands, but I only had to spray once, and the weeds were dead by evening. It worked well on the poisin ivy, but I'm not sure it was any better than my vinegar solution for other weeds

Sprayed and seems to be working. Based my review on that it does work per other reviews. People complaining about the spray bottle is tiresome if slot of spraying is required. Get a 1 gallon pump sprayer ($14) and empty the hand sprayer liquid into the pump sprayer. Then you are set.

Sprayed the poison ivy and it was dying the next! I'm looking forward to a summer that's poison ivy and oak free.

Worked well on killing poison ivy in our fence row but squeezing trigger as much as needed for larger areas is very tiring on my hand. Product takes around 8-10 days before plant shows visible yellowing.

It never killed the poison ivy,no value here on two for one, save your money and shop at Lowe's.

I saw wilting in a few days. A month later still wilted but will need another application or two to kill. Wish it had a battery operated sprayer, the constant squeezing is hard on the hands.
