Pros: Firm, Comfortable Cons: none I just got this so I might revise this review, but this thing is super comfortable and cradles my neck (which has some non-trival damage) extremely well. I tried it out on my bed at first to get a feel for it, and if I didn’t move around so much while I slept (and I slept on my back all the time), this would be great. It is actually more comfortable than my pillows while I am laying on my back — a good sign for actual use. Then I tried it in the car. Once I get in the right position (luckily the height at which it straps to the seat is perfect) I am so much more comfortable having neck support and the nice ergonomic curve to allow my hurting neck muscles to relax. For me, this thing is just about perfect so far. The build quality (meaning the stitching and external materials) seem adequate, and we shall see how long it can go without bursting seam. There does appear to be a slightly stretched seam which might have a problem later, but all else looks good. The microfiber is very comfortable as well. I think I will start looking for this combo of material in all my sheets/pillows. Until I have this thing a few months, I can’t recommend it yet, but if all goes as well as my initial impression, then it would be a solid buy recommendation.

Great little pillow that has a soft cover. The memory foam is really great quality and will retain its shape. This did not work on my car (Honda Civic 2015) as a neck pillow because the headrest is angled forward so my neck never actually touches this pillow. However, I brought this on a 20 hour flight to Vietnam and used this as my lumbar pillow which worked incredibly well. I left the plane well rested without any back pain at all! All you need to do is wedge it at the right spot on your back and it does wonders, extremely soft while remaining supporting enough to give you good posture. It did not support my head well enough as a stand alone travel pillow, but that was because I was sitting up. When I came back from my trip, my mom saw this pillow and decided to use it while she was resting in her hammock. She asked me the following night where I had bought the pillow as she wanted one for herself! I ended up giving her this pillow, and she is extremely happy. I think if you were laying down, you could potentially use this pillow and it would be extremely comfortable. I have actually considered using this on backpacking trips.

I am a woman and not tall and the front passenger seat of our car is very uncomfortable to sit in because the neck rest pushes against the back top of my head and my head is uncomfortably pushed forward if I try to lean back against the seat back, because the seat then goes further back under this “neck” rest. I looked for something to fix this issue which could be very dangerous in the case of an accident. I found this neck rest (this is actually the second one I have purchased) and it works really well to provide a natural neck rest and is comfortable and provides support. I purchased this product before but when I left it in the car all the time (we live in an area with an abundance of hot weather) the elastic on the back eventually stretched out. Now I keep it by the front door and bring it out to the car with me so I think it will last longer. It makes me angry that car manufacturers are allowed to get away with a dangerous design like this and I was very glad I was able to find a way to mitigate the risk of the bad design.

These neck pillows are FANTASTIC! They completely have solved the problem of hard car seat head rests for me. Recently I bought a new car and could not find a comfortable seating position with those hard head rests. Even using my power seats couldn't help me find the right angle to avoid banging the back of my head into them. I was at wits end until I saw these neck pillows on Amazon and decided to give them a try. What a difference they've made in my driving comfort! I'm 5'7" so I raised the headrest up a couple of notches so the pillow rests snuggly between the seat and head rest. There is plenty of support but it's much softer on the back of my head now. The pillow is firm enough with the memory foam but has flexibility without being mushy. The color matches my black interior perfectly. These neck pillows have drastically improved the comfort in my car seats and driving experience. I even put one on the passenger side and everyone loves it. I can't imagine driving without one now. For the price, it's money well spent.

The anatomical shape for your cervical area, the softness of the material it is made, the comfortable cushioning; all these design aspects are pretty good. What I found not so good was the elastic strap. In my case, it didn’t stay in place. Every time I got my head briefly away from it, the pillow was somewhere else and misplaced. In some strange way I fixed the problem. I had to attach the strap to my car seat neck support by inserting sewing pins to hold it in place. I think this could be a better product if it is redesigned to stay in place in a more effective way.

If these are ever soId again, don't buy it for the car but buy it AS AN ARMCHAIR or RECLINER neck cushion. The perfect size, perfect contour, perfect density, and perfect shape! We ignore the strap and just tuck it behind our neck & head. I need one more like it because we share one - but I can't find any other car pillow just like this. Travelmate I hope you read this-it is a great pillow!

This is not a perfect fit but it as close as I could get. I think the firmness is too hard, I wish it’s softer so it can contour to your neck and head shape better. I am 4’ 9” and sitting on a seating cushion about 3” high so I can see the road. My head normally stay below head rest and the car head rest pressing down against my head, awful position to be driving one. This neck pillow helps a little bit but it’s not perfect. I may go back to use soft memoform pillow for my neck if it stay this stiff for a long time. Will update a few months of use real long driving.

I have had back problems all of my life and have an odd posture as a result of Scoliosis and herniated discs in my neck plus a lower back spine fusion as a child. Sitting in my car seats for long periods of time made the problems worse sometimes so I was trying to find a solution that didn't involve getting seats custom made for my car. This was a great purchase. I needed something that would fill the gap between my head and the head rest behind it which wouldn't fall down to my lower back each time I moved. This worked perfectly and is very comfy. I recommend it for anyone who has back or neck problems or even just for people who want added comfort for your neck in your car seat. You can shift the height of it or move it away when you don't want to use it (like when my hubby drives my car) and when you do want it, it stays in place nicely. Highly recommended.

It is nice product with good velvet finish. Nice soft support for the neck while driving or while in the passenger seat.
