Works great
I purchased several of these splitters to power 12VDC LED monitors and small powered speakers. This splitter works perfectly for low load and medium load devices. My only complaint has been raised by others - the power switch is easily bumped from the 12V setting to 9V or worse yet 18V. I cut off the switch flush with the side of the case and the switch can still be moved using a paper clip, but it will not be accidentally bumped to the wrong setting.I purchased four or five PoE splitters from different manufacturers, some more expensive, some less expensive, and until this splitter, none of them worked properly. The other splitters did not work well with low-load devices; they would cycle on and off. With the other splitters I had to add a 1K resister as a "dummy" load so they would not cycle on and off. This splitter worked perfectly out of the box.

15.4W only
Did not work @ 16W let alone 30W. Splitter did not identify as an 802.3AT device at all on the switch (Cisco) and was detected as a regular 802.3AF device. It worked at 15.4W but trying to pull 1 more watt caused the splitter to overload (leds dimmed, then went out, switch reported a device error)Tried contacting seller but they were no help. Returned to amazon for a full refund.

30W @12VDC is awesome!
I use them for my Aruba 9004 gateways. The power cable is an exact match and I don't have to deal with a bunch of transformers and using all my receptacles.

Working like a charm (only better because charms are powerless trinkets sold to the gullible)
Running for over a month with no issue. Hardly even gets warm. It's currently powering both my edge router and cable modem. It supplies 12 volts at an average of 1.68 amps and a peak of 1.965A when the router is booting and the modem syncing up. I have not put it under an artificial load to test it's advertised limits. The only thing I really don't like about it is the voltage selector switch. It sticks way out and could easily be nudged to the wrong voltage, frying attached equipment. It should definitely be recessed or at least flush with the outside casing, so you need to use a pen or something to adjust it. If I had a hot glue gun I'd put a big glob to hold it in place but I'll settle for a piece of tape.update: I bought another and they've revised the voltage switch so it is now flush with the side. Bravo! And thank you.
