Excellent Mic Stand
This thing has everything you want in a good, solid mic stand. I am 6'3" and it adjusts plenty high for even me to stand and sing into a mic. It is black powder coated steel, has rubber tips on the feet so it won't slide around. The adjusting knobs for tightening and loosing. There's even a metal rod you can use to keep the upright part from collapsing down which snaps into several pre drilled holes if you wish to use it. The only thing that might bother some folks is that it doesn't collapse and fold down as far as some that you can carry in a bag. But I've found that the types of stands that collapse and fold, etc for more convenient carrying are usually flimsier or have to be taken apart. I really can't think of anything negative to say about this stand. It lives up to its description!! Hard to believe this stand is that inexpensive. You can adjust it down for sitting on a stool or standing or anywhere in between and the boom pole is also fully adjustable. It doesn't sag or change position once you have it adjusted and with everything tightened this mic stand will stay where you set it.

A Solid Durable Product
Sturdy and reliable, this mic stand is built to last. It holds up well even with heavy use, providing stable support for my microphone during long sessions. The adjustable height and secure locking mechanisms are impressive, ensuring the mic stays exactly where I need it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a durable and dependable mic stand.

Good solid stand
Nothing fancy but is more solid than any other inexpensive stand I’ve used. Only gripe is that the tripod base takes up a lot of stage space when fully extended but you can minimize the problem by only opening it part way. I’d buy it again.

It’s good but look closely at photos, and your box contents…
If you look at the photos Amazon provides, you’ll see different mic stands! Look at the footing. Thankfully the stand we received is the one you see in most of the photos, the one with braces on the legs. It’s what we wanted, not the 2 others also pictured. So that’s good, and so far, it’s steady and sturdy. The box was in shambles! It’s the original box which his meant to be inside a container, not knocking around in warehouses and transports. It was torn in half, literally, and had holes! As a result, there was a nut missing, but we were able to replace it.The adapter was thankfully there because that’s an important part! It could’ve easily fallen out since the box was so badly damaged.Nothing else was missing, and that’s miraculous considering the condition of the box. Or what was left of it lolThere was evidence that the mic had been set up by a previous customer, there were multiple scratches, but we’re okay with that. Sometimes there are returns. But return departments should look more closely upon receipt, and price accordingly. In the end we’re glad we ordered it and the price was good. I’m grateful my husband knows about hardware and parts, and had a nut to replace the missing piece.

Nice Mic stands
I bought two of these to mount some Audio Tecnica Mics. The mics fit on these easily and the stands were sturdy.

Better than I expected for the price.
The media could not be loaded. So first off, for less than 30 bucks I didn’t expect much but didn’t really need anything amazing but I’ve been around a lot of mic stands and I was honestly how surprised I was with how sturdy and solid this thing was, mics have a little weight so I didn’t want it to feel super light and wobbly and it def isn’t, no parts of it feel light or cheap this think is solid all parts were flawless and worked perfectly, def a score, I hope who ever is looking for an affordable mic stands finds this review.

Superlative engineering
I had no idea that this stand would be so well constructed and so sturdy! The engineering and quality are excellent. Certainly the most stable and balanced microphone stand I have. I will be buying more of these from Pyle.

Won't last 6 months of frequent gigging
I'm on my 3rd one! This is a great stand for a great price IF: It primarily stays in one place and you need a longer arm to reach whatever your mic-ing up. It has long legs that can fit around certain objects like a giant pedal board (I often use the HeadRush Prime). This is a terrible stand IF: You gig more than once a week with it. Everything strips!! And strips fast! Which is really saying something because most stands don't last as long as you want them too. The arm will go limp, the legs will come undone, the part that connects the arm to the bottom have will fall off... etc. It's also bad for anytime you need to set up in a tight spot. That being said, I like the way it works for one of my set ups so much that I just bought my 3rd one, which is still cheaper than buying one like this from a music store somewhere more legit (You can spend $150.00 on one of these). I plan to modify it myself so that I can get a longer life out of it, and maybe even try to fix one of my older ones.Recommend: Making sure all the screws and bolts are tight when you get it and keep an eye on them. Also be sure to be extra careful, making sure you always loosen it when adjusting the boom arm. Don't be lazy like me!

Sturdiness and long lasting
I purchased a microphone stand before and it never held up to adjustments. Pyle makes a higher quality stand with metal adjustments. It was worth the extra few dollars I spent!

A better build
The stand is one of the better ones available on the market at this price point. It’s sturdy and a good one for when you don’t have a boom operator.Tip: line up one of the legs with the direction of your extending pole for added balance

Very stable stand
I've bought several stands from Amazon - sight unseen - in the past. They're always a bit flimsy. This stand, however, is super strong. It feels well-made, with sufficient weight to keep it stable, even when the arm is fully extended.5 stars. Would buy again.
