What a charming way to introduce a friend or family member to greener personal care! These would make the perfect gift. Neatly packed in a pretty box these use-again pads just have to be the best on the market. Tips for in-the-fridge or already-on-the-bathroom-shelf items for make-up removal are added extras as are their lovely little laundry bags. Beautifully and sturdily finished, they look as if they will last for ever and they wash clean in a jiffy with ordinary dish soap. So soft! They do the job of removing make-up efficiently and luxuriously. I have also used one dabbed with lavender oil as a dressing on a burn. And they work really well as eye masks soaked in cold camomile tea. Can't live without them now!

Saw quite a few top reviews mentioning that these are hard to clean so I decide to leave a review here after trying to wash them today.The photo above showed a pile of unused, new pads and a pile of used pads that have just been in the wash. All of my mascara, foundation etc come off the wash perfectly, I was really surprised at how white they looked. So yes they do clean easily - here is what I did to take all the stubborn makeup off.I didn’t want to throw in the makeup pads in with my other light coloured stuff in case the makeup gets stick on my other clothes, so what I did was I soaked these pads in a bowl of warm water mixed with laundry powder to wash off some of the makeup first. I gave some of the more heavily used ones a light rub. Then I discarded the brown soapy water (ew) and soaked them again before putting them in the wash. And they came out amazing! Soft, white and ready to be used again.

This is a worthwhile product that is definitely worth the money. The pads themselves and soft on one side and a little rougher on another, which I actually find helps to get my eye make-up off well.One thing that I was worried about was the effect that washing detergent and softener was going to have on my face, causing breakouts/rashes. But it’s been fine since I started using them, I just make sure not to use excessive amounts for the load I’m putting in the wash and really it’s no different to having a flannel or towel from the wash on your face. The pads do stain a little with mascara but they still look clean, it’s just obvious staining. So this really doesn’t bother me.The netted bag that comes with is really handy and the overall presentation of the product is sweet, including a leaflet of natural products to use to remove make-up. I am very happy with this product and am glad I’ve found another way to be kinder to the environment and my pocket.

I have been using these with micellar water for a couple of weeks now. They are brilliant! They are soft and easy to use and much more effective than face wipes. My mascara just melts away and I can just gently wipe the pad over my eyes rather than rubbing hard like I used to. They arrived in recyclable packaging with a laundry bag and handy pouch for storing clean pads in. I bought these in black as other reviewers had complained about the white ones not cleaning properly. I would advise washing them with water whatever colour you have to prolong their lifespan. I just swill mine out, leave them to dry and put them in the laundry bag ready for my next wash cycle. I saw the photos of the ones that came out scrunched up and was a bit sceptical about washing them but they came out as good as they went in so I have no idea what that buyer did to them. I wish I’d found them sooner as they are much more environmentally friendly and I find them really easy to use. I would definitely recommend trying them!

Great environmentally friendly product.I have used the white pads for almost a year now and they are brilliant! Excellent size, easy to use, and soft on my skin. I give them a quick rinse after use, then machine wash them in with my normal washing, and they come up clean every time. It looks like they improved the design since my last purchase. I like the new storage box that comes with the set, it's really cute and makes it the perfect gift. I decided to buy both sets to replace my old white rounds and try the new dark grey pads which I have to say are incredibly soft. I start using them for my eye makeup and they are amazing. I highly recommend both sets!!!

These are a gamechanger! Easy to clean too. I rinse mine out after each use to avoid staining, and to be honest, they come up so clean I haven't yet had to put in washing machine (apart from before initial use as recommended)Not too soft, slightly exfoliating I would say, hence 4 stars as some have said they're too harsh. I don't think they are at all, they're just not as soft as cotton pads, but in my mind, that's not a bad thing! And no annoying bits of cotton wool hanging around eyelashes. Even comes with wash bag - Happy Days! Have recommended to my daughter. Very happy with this product.

So I'm new to this type of thing and was skeptical about swapping my usual cotton pads for reusable ones BUT I was pleasently surprised! They are so soft and pretty absorbant, they remove my make up so easily. You can even use both sides of the pad which is very helpful. Washing them is easy, you throw them in the little wash bag and done. The packaging is sturdy and you can easily recycle it or repurpose it for other things. I've painted mine to hold some paintbrushes!

These are a brilliant alternative to disposable cotton pads. They are really soft and don’t irritate my skin, they absorb the product well. With a lot of these pads they seem to be waterproof but these are not, they are soft and gentle and work perfectly for my skincare routine.They come in a lovely recyclable pot, I’ve used it for a brush holder, a nice storage bag and a good wash bag. They wash very well, I used the dryer and they dried flat and the same as before I washed them
