Basis Cleaner Clean Face Wash, 6 Ounce (Pack of 3)

I have sensitive skin and I’ve been using this product, well, probably for as long as it’s been around. It doesn’t dry out my face like other cleansers and is gentle on my oily eye lids. Smells really nice too. I was just ordering more and couldn’t find the gel cleanser anywhere. I see from other reviews that the gel has been discontinued, but not the bar soap… Why!? Most people use liquid soap over bar soap these days! (probably because of Friends, “Next time you shower, think about the last thing I wash and the first thing you wash.”) I hope the company changes their mind or comes out with a comparable product.

My daughter has tried many kinds of face wash and finally found this one. She absolutely loves it! The only issue is it has become increasingly hard to find it in stock for a reasonable price. Reasonable being no more than $6 a bottle. So buying 3 at once is so helpful.

I have been using this face wash for years. Started with the bar version (which is still available) and found the liquid version worked better for my skin....less residue. Looks like I'll have to go back to the bar.I see SO MANY good reviews...and disappointed customers, maybe the manufacturer will change their mind. Sure wish I would have know...I would have purchased multiple 3 packs and just stashed them away for later use. One tube lasted months for me as I only had to use a small dot. I have one tube left...will be sure to make it last as long as possible :-(

As an over 20-year user of this facial wash, I am tremendously disappointed that the company discontinued this product. It was, quite literally, the best facial wash out there. It cleaned perfectly without drying out my skin. The fragrance was so refreshing—just perfect.I’m not sure what the company was thinking when they decided to jettison this facial wash. It was positively beloved by many, many long-term users, and there is nothing else out there that can compare. Shame on Beiersdorf for pulling the plug on it.

This is a great product. I've used it for years. I love the soft herbal fragrance. It offers a clean feeling all day. Good skin care for different skin types.

This is an awesome basic face cleanser. I love how it smells, lathers, rinses, and how my face feels afterwards. Skin is clean and soft. This cleanser is said to be for normal to oily skin. But if you have sensitive skin that is not SUPER sensitive, I'm sure you can use this. That's the kind of skin I have. I tried other formulas that are made for sensitive skin (Cetaphil) and found those to be too gentle that it didn't give me the clean feeling I wanted. This cleanser took off my make-up and really gave me balanced results--dry parts were cleaned without over drying and oily parts were cleaned and unwanted oils were removed. I stopped using this cleanser for a while only because I couldn't find it in stores anymore. I'm so glad that Amazon carries it and at an even better price than before since I'm using Subscribe and Save. I highly recommend this cleanser. I only wished it came in a more convenient pump dispenser.Last note: Make sure you do not get this stuff in your eyes. I feel like when it gets in my eyes, it's more painful than when I get shampoo/soap suds in my eyes. It might be effects of the minty botanicals... but just heed my caution.
