​Barbie Fashionistas Doll with Short Curly Brunette Hair Wearing Good Vibes Only Camo Tank, Shorts and Accessories, for 3 to 8 Year Olds

I wanted this doll for my collection as soon as i saw her but she had sold out. Eventually though, Amazon came through for me with new stock. I paid about £14.55 which I feel is a good deal. She is a taller fashionista doll and comes in a 'good vibes' slogan t.shirt and cut off denim style shorts with flat trainers. Her hair is short and curly and thankfully is actual doll hair and not the plastic type seen on the male dolls. She is unusual as in the fact she has a more androgynous type of body. She is straighter, not curvy and has an athletic type of small breasted figure and more muscular limbs. Tomboyish? Butch? I for one am so glad the fashionista dolls are more representative of our society and are finally releasing dolls that all types of girls and women can relate to. My only gripe is I wish they had released this doll in Caucasian too but I guess they have to make decisions or they would need to release far more dolls in the line. Overall, a doll worthy of our times; alongside the ones in wheelchairs, the albino doll and the doll with the prosthetic leg. I look forward to seeing what comes next. Mattel, it's over to you. ;)

Finally! A barbie with a realistic body shape and not one that a real person would have to have an eating disorder, breast implants and surgery to remove a couple of ribs. Dressed in a pretty sundress and flat sandals. I absolutely love it and I hope they bring out more like this.

Very hard to find a nice looking barbie these days as they have changed them all too much and they all look very cheap but this one is lovely!

Love that Barbie is now coming in all shapes and sizes and acknowledging a diverse range of people. My only issue is the lack of articulation in the fashionista line, I feel they should at least have bendable knees!

My niece is totally all about Barbie. I have been picking up Barbies for her here and there for this coming Christmas.
