Well worth the price!
These candles are exactly what we needed for our home to lit for Shabbat! They have no fragrance. The price also, especially for the quantity and quality, could not be beat! Especially in this deal, where you get 2 boxes of 72ec for the price of one other the other leading brands! The more the better, right!? Also, the candles have no drip! (Of course one could tilt and cause running but the chances of that would be defeating the purpose of the no drip, right!? The boxing and packaging is really nive, we especially love the star of David on packages! I literally cn't even find a complaint on my end in these-Enjoy, Shalom!

They are fine
The candles are fine. Make sure you have something under candelabra as the candles do drip.

Great for pleasure and emergencies!!!
These candles are a staple in my household. My wife and I like to eat dinner by candlelight. With the amount you get, they also come in handy for power outages.

Adequate for religious ceremonies, but very drippy for other purposes
Since these candles are designed for religious ceremonies and they would do that adequately, I gave them a 4-star rating. However, when used for other purposes such as powering a German "Weinachtspyramide" (see picture) they often melt in an uneven manner that leads to a lot of dripping, which in turn requires clean up, so for these purposes I would only give them a 3-star rating. The picture shows 2 unburned candles in the background, which can be compared to the two candles that have burned down so quickly and unevenly in the foreground. Still, this is a very good price for 144 candles . Cheers!

Why are Shabbat Candles made in China?
UPDATE: Raised rating to 5 stars. These are now my goto Shabbat candles. Dripless. Messless. Burn completely. Don't seem to contain Melemine. They only last 3 hrs, at best though. Still disappointed that they aren't made in Israel. But what isn't made in PRC now??? /// This is an initial review, as I just received these candles. I will update further after burning some. Many have asked where these candles are made. As you can see in the photo "prc" Peoples Republic of China. I don't know about these particular candles, but many that I have purchased and were made in prc contained Melamine (a white plastic powder) that leaves a residue in the bottom of the candle holders. It seems to be added to whiten the candles. I don't want to burn plastic for Shabbat! Again, I don't know that these particular candles contain Melamine, but I am suspect. These candles appear very small. I will see how long they burn. I am very disappointed that I can no longer find Shabbat candles made in Israel.

Best Shabbat Candles Ever!
Ok, I did a thing today. I purchased both of these brands from Amazon, so I decided to do a side by side review of both of these candles since I burn them everyday. I wanted to see if the burn time was as advertised.... Drum Roll Please!... The Jerusalem Candle Brand 2hr. 55 min. (Dark Blue Box) (on left) The Israel Candle Brand 2 hr. 5 min. (Light Blue Box) (on right) I did this a few times, they averaged the same times give or take a few minutes. You'll get a much even & better burn if you trim the wick before each use. They both melt wonderfully, no drip, no mess, they dissolved all the way down, nothing left but a wisp of a wick. So from now on it's the Jerusalem Brand for me! I tend to stock up & buy in bulk, it's much cheaper. More bang 4 your buck! Well, it's time for me to get back to burning my wonderful candles... So Coffee & Candles here I come!
