GoPro Removable Instrument Mount

GoPro should be making a bigger deal about these items. They’re like 3m wall hooks. Strong and reliable. Non destructive. I use them for so many things. Mounting mics on guitars. Mounting GoPros on guitar head stocks. Mounting camera on rental car dashboards. They’re great.

These work great on most instruments and sensitive surfaces, and best of all are removable. Highly recommend them for placing on fragile surfaces as the regular adhesive mounts will leave a mark and possibly peel off material.

Just wanted to clarify some things. People who answered the questions in 2016 said that there were only two mounts. I don't know if things have changed or if they got a non-official product. The product shipping in 2017 has three mounts with two additional strips. This means a total of 5 uses. EDIT: I used one of these yesterday and it worked perfectly. I actually bought them to use on my car dashboard for a day on the racetrack. I applied it the day before on a flat and mostly non-textured part of my dashboard to give it time to stick. The track day was 107 degrees and both the dashboard and the camera were actually too hot to touch after each session, but the mount held tight. There was a little bit of play, but I was never worried that the camera would come off (I was using a GoPro Session) I was able to remove it at the end of the day with no issue at all and no residue. Very pleased that it worked for this alternate use.

I love my new GoPro instrument mounts! They're easy to take around and I already have one on my bass. I love it!

great for a sousaphone and is definitely non damaging even on a brand new brass instrument with fine lacquer.

Halten bombenfest auf meiner Gitarre. Abgemacht habe ich noch keinen, kann also nichts dazu sagen wie die Gitarre danach aussieht. Die Bedienung der Mechaniken ist nicht eingeschränkt.

Exactly as described have got plenty of use out of these, have used with a variety of guitars including PRS, Fender and Vintage Archtop Gibsons. Was a little concerned about it affecting the finish on older guitars but as of yet I have had no problems.

Los accesorios llegaron según la fecha indicada., con su embalaje original de Gopro, teniendo otros de accesorios de Gopro que fueron genial , me decidí por estos porque se necesitaba unos soportes adhesivos para la piragua.

Ho nutrito fino all'ultimo dubbi sulla presa, sulla sicurezza di incollare qualcosa stando col pensiero di danneggiare la vernice della chitarra... ma vedendo diversi video su Youtube mi sono piano piano convinto e ho deciso di provare. Premetto che ho testato qualsiasi soluzione: la pinza con il gooseneck da 19 sezioni, il TheJam, addirittura il velcro strap da polso... Nessuna mi ha convinto. La pinza è la più stabile forse, e l'ho rivalutata con l'utilizzo di un gooseneck più corto, che sbilancia meno il peso. Ma comunque necessita di spazio sulla paletta, e non sempre ce n'è. Il TheJam lo trovo scomodo per una chitarra o un basso, anche se l'ho trovato perfetto sui fusti della batteria e sulle aste. Questo adesivo è resistente (quantomeno, al momento; se dovesse succedere qualcosa di inaspettato sicuramente lo riporterò in questa stessa recensione), comodo da staccare grazie alla linguetta e soprattutto non fa stare con l'ansia che si sfili da un momento all'altro. Io lo uso sulle mie chitarre e il mio basso. Per il montaggio su basso, data la posizione della mano, non servono goosenecks e adattatori strani. Per l'utilizzo su chitarra, sia che stia su paletta sia sul corpo, consiglio spassionatamente un adattatore a 90° o un gooseneck. Ho notato (ma è un gusto personale sicuramente), che ruotare la camera fornisce un'inquadratura più naturale e interessante, allineata all'asse del pavimento per intenderci. Consigliatissimo. Forse l'unico neo, non tanto del prodotto in sè quanto della soluzione complessiva, è che oltre a questi adevisi poi necessariamente bisogna comprare altri adattatori e accessori aggiuntivi.
