Seems to be working well. However, they are very large capsules and difficult to swallow.

I have used Genistein for years for help in controlling hot flashes and irritability problems going through menopause. I can only vouch for the fact that it has helped me. I will say that it takes a couple of weeks for it to get into your system to begin to alleviate a lot of the systems of menopause. Do I still have hot flashes, yes but not as severe and not as often.

Great product and is helping with pre-menopausal symptoms. The down side is the size and hardness of the tablet. It easily gets stuck in the throat.

Exist preclinical data suggests that Feinstein at a dosage of 15-50 mg/kg body weight helps to stop tumor cells from growing by arresting at the G2/M phase of the cel cycle and may induce them to die. This and published in vitro data detailing the molecular mechanism is rather encouraging. However. this product ( Source Naturals Genistein Soy Complex 1000 mg - 240 Tablets ) does not have enough genistein to give you the dosage you need. A 1000 mg capsule contains only 2 mg of Feinstein. For a 100kg (200 labs) person, you will need to take 1.5-5 gram a day to achieve the effective dosage in the literature. That is to take more than 3 bottles of this product a day to achieve the minimum therapeutic dosage. OF course this is based on preclinical data but anyone has better data ?

For several years after menopause, my migraines decreased (from 6-8 per month) to only a couple per year. I was pretty happy! But gradually they returned, and while they were never as debilitating, they were very annoying. I did some research and decided to try this product, and this brand. After a few months, I realized that the migraines were almost completely gone again! Could it be a coincidence? Well, I've taken 2 capsules of this per day for about 5 years, but every once in a while (like when it was dropped by subscribe-and-save, I'll run out, and neglect to take it for a couple of months. This has *just* happened - I stopped taking it late last year. In the past 2 months, my migraine headaches have been back with a vengeance, and I'm forced to rely on Imitrex (which has its own evil side effects) almost daily. My new order of Genistein arrived yesterday, and I'm really looking forward to living my life again. I hope others find the same result!

Low rating because I just tried to take one of these pills and it stuck in my throat. Very large for not being in a capsule. So I'm back on Amazon to buy a different brand as I had previously had much smaller pills that were capsules (sure, those were probably less mg but I don't know and don't need a huge amount but better than not being able to take). Two stars as I guess some folks could swallow these and for them, would be fine.

The tablets are quite big and I can imagine swallowing for some people could be problematic. Like most people I take this for therapeutic reasons and won't be certain about the effectiveness until my next scan. If this does what it's supposed to do then I'll give it five stars.
