Our son has been introducing our 3 year old grandkids to RC cars, so I decided to add some to our vehicle collection since the kiddos are at my house during the week. My grandson loves monster trucks so I ordered this GMAXT RC Truck without noticing the 6+ age recommendation. Sometimes age recommendations don't mean much, but this RC truck really is too much for my grandson, so I've put it away until he's older. My husband and I played with it a little, and while the plastic feels kind of flimsy, the truck still feels kind of beefy and pretty darn cool. The monster design is well done, and the big wheels feel sturdy. For a super-novice like myself, the remote seems kind of tricky. It truck comes with rechargeable batteries but I'm disappointed that the remote takes regular batteries. With 3 little kids around, batteries are an expensive commodity. Overall, I think this would make a great gift for any truck loving child age 6 and over who either has experience with RC vehicles or has patience and doesn't get frustrated easily.

My husband and daughter were so excited for this gift!! It does handle rough terrain (to a point), but they did have to sauder the power wires back to one set of wheels The battery charge does not last long at all! My daughter has taken it off the charger, and off she goes; only to return maybe 15 minutes later with a dead battery!!They do really like this RC but they do wish it were more rugged and a much longer battery battery life!

I wish it went faster for them but they love it. cant seem to get the spotlights on it to work though

This was a Christmas present and my great grandaughter liked it. That was really all that mattered to me.

Photos show how I received the product. The actual delivery amazon box is undamaged but the product box is in poor shape with part of the clear covering broken. The box is kinda dirty and dusty and if you look carefully you can see some kind of string on the car as well as some scratches on the plastic. Very much looks like this car was used and repacked. I havent tried it out as it was supposed to be a Christmas gift, but in this condition I am considering returning it instead.
