Has anyone tried the pinch test?

I pulled..pinched and stretched..no white

Does this leach color or chemical taste into the food? Does it rust?

I've only used these a couple of times. Typically for silicone cookware though, neither the color nor a chemical taste leached into the items I baked or microwaved. A little more flexible than I would have liked, but very good for the price.
