Might work, but instructions are terrible and KINDRM service contact info doesn't seem to exist
I bought this product to Bluetooth-enable an older TV set so my I could watch late into the evening on headphones so my wife could sleep. But any time you buy electronics on the low cost side, you run the risk of well, getting what you paid for. But the product description said, "lifetime technical support", so I figured I'd roll the dice. When the device arrived, I followed the instructions on the business card-sized manual that frankly stink. The device would not even think about pairing. Luckily, I found a foreign language video on YouTube from which I was able to divine that the dongle MUST BE PLUGGED INTO a power source for the transmitter to work. Problem #1 solved. When I finally was able to pair the device with my PC, I did so with two devices. My Bose QuietComfort 35 II Noise Cancelling headset and an LG HBS-760. IT was then I encountered problem #2, which was that the device was only transmitting the right channel. The left side is dead. I even went into the Ease of Access settings on the PC and forced it into Mono Mode, just in case it was the source and not the transmitter malfunctioning. Still nothing on the left side. Next I plugged the 3.5 mm jack into my phone. Same result. No left side. Now, here's the most frustrating thing of all. When I went to take advantage of my "Lifetime Technical Support", there ISN'T ANY CONTACT INFORMATION (or it's buried somewhere). No email address. No phone number. And a Google search of KINDRM reveals nothing. It's as if the manufacturer doesn't exist. So I've used the "Leave seller feedback" on Amazon and we'll see what happens. But this one star review will stand until someone from the manufacturer contacts me and fixes the issue. Otherwise, it's return city. And that would be a real a shame considering how close I am to getting this thing to work perfectly. Fingers crossed.UPDATE: I've raised my original review from 1 to 3 stars. NOT because someone reached out to me from the manufacturer, but because I finally was able to figure out where the problem was and fix it. If you'll recall, I had tried multiple sources and multiple BT headsets, and was only able to get sound in the right channel. What I hadn't thought of was to replace the 3.5 mm patch cord. The one sent with the unit was [as I should have expected] junk. Once I replaced it with a quality cable, both channels started playing. The sound quality is as good as a direct BT connection to my phone. One final note: I can control the volume from both of my headsets. However, the "Next Track" and "Last Track" commands from the headset do NOT work.So all in all, a very frustrating experience that ended well, but only after a supreme effort on my part. As such, 3-stars seems appropriate. If KINDRM ever decides to invest in a few minimal improvements (better documentation, a real website, and a YouTube video) they'd probably improve to a 4-Stars plus rating -- from everyone. Especially given how much less expensive this unit is compared to others.

Not suggested for car audio
Bought this item for its transmitter function to connect my phone to car aux audio. Basically it worked well after setup which is as simple as plunging into a USB power port. Bluetooth connection and reconnection took about half a minute, not as fast as built-in Bluetooth I’ve seen in other cars but not very bad either. Since it has the dual function as receiver and transmitter, every time I restart the USB power it will switch between the two functions. This design is inconvenient since every other time I start my car I have to plug it out/plug it in to manually switch back to the transmitter function. Not suggested for use in car audio.

Receiver works fine, Transmitter does not work
I was able to immediately and easily get the receiver to work, so that's great. However after a lot of effort both at home and on a plane, carefully following the instructions, I was unable to get the transmitter to work... which is actually the mode I bought this for (to send plane movie audio to my Apple AirPodsPro bluetooth headphones). I happened to buy another more expensive (but larger) device at the same time for a different purpose and that worked immediately. Maybe I received a faulty item, I would be happy to receive a replacement.

Purchased for use in my car
I ordered and received this item on the same day! I purchased this to replace my existing battery powered receiver. What I like about this model is it's BT 5.0, very small form factor and it can operate as both a receiver and transceiver. I have only tested the unit in receiver mode but I have put the device into both modes while unplugging it and plugging it back in. I will not use this in my car due to the amount of ground loop noise I hear when using this. Perhaps this will work better if I use this on my TV in transceiver mode but I'm disappointed with how it works in my car.

Callers could not hear me, mic broken.
Sound quality for music was good. No physical switch to change from transmit to receive. In my application (car) it would switch between power cycles between modes which was a bit wonky. The deal breaker was that phone calls did not work (could hear caller, but they could not hear me). This could have been a one off issue with the mic, but I am returning it. Got a different product which was perfect for my use case.

Cheap with good sound quality.
Nice value BT aux solution. I had a $7 BT-to-Aux adapter that I used for about 5 years before it died. I picked up this one as a replacement and it's working great. My phone remembers it and connects automatically when I start my car. It's cheap and does it's job.

Awesome sound, easy to use, and at a great price!
I'm really impressed with the ease of use and quality of sound with this Bluetooth receiver/transmitter. When I put the key in the ignition of my car, the device automatically powers up and syncs with my phone. It's the cats pajamas, or the bees knees as they say. The sound quality is excellent, no distortion or delay. So glad I spent the money!
