Great for outdoors: gardening, hiking, repels rain, the brim is wider than many hats, and keeps sun off face and back of neck nicely.It is comfortable and has a nice look to it. It is well made, durable, folds well in carryons, and has good mesh ventilation around the rim.

I absolutely love this GearTop hat. I purchased it because my doctor told me to wear sunscreen protection and specifically to wear a wide brimmed hat. I have tons of regular trucker style/baseball style hats, but needed a wide brim. This hat looks great. The color is perfect - not too light so it won’t get dirty and not too dark so it won’t absorb heat. The fit of the hat is also perfect for my large sized head (just as the fitment chart said). It is very lightweight so you’ll barely notice it on your head - no real extra weight whatsoever. The drawstring serves as both an adjustment for sizing as well as a way to lock the drawstring under your chin to keep it even more in place for those really windy days. So far I haven’t needed to lock in place as the hat fits so well. The thing that really sold me on this hat is the ventilation system. I hate hats that make your hotter and don’t ventilate well. This has ventilates amazingly because the circumference area on the upper part of the hat has a mesh that allows for airflow in and heat out. Everyone also thinks that I look pretty good in this hat as I get many compliments so far. The UVF of 50+ in the fabric is also perfect as many of the sun’s rays can get through most clothing. I truly cannot think of a better quality made hat that stays attractive. This hat ticks all the boxes for the perfect hat. Absolutely an emphatic recommend for anyone looking for a great sun hat, hiking hat, gardening hat, etc.

Overall it seems great, it's just a bit to small for my head. Like I can force it to fit its just super tight. I guess I have a big head?

I bought this hat with some skepticism, given I had tried 4 others, some more expensive, and found them to be too small or the brim was on the narrower side. This thing keeps my neck out of the sun, is sweat wicking, and fits just right. The material feels Saturday and well assembled. The packaging was done with care. Great hat great company with attention to detail.

This hat looks terrific! It has the look of a quality product. Lots of decorative touches. Really broad brim that shades head, face, and neck. It holds its shape well - no floppy brim on this hat!I wear a 7 5/8 size and this one-size-fits-all hat is a bit snug, but it’s definitely wearable.Overall, this is a great hat for hot, sunny weather.

This hat fits very well. It is comfortable and the tie is not loose or to tight, I like the fact that it is adjustable. The air vents at the top help your head to not get overheated. Does a great job of blocking the sun. Plus, I like the look of it

There is something about the brim that means it just won't bend right. It annoys me when wearing a pdf or backpack as you have to curl it way up to get it out of the way. Even not wearing anything extra it's still just wrong, in a way that my straw hat and boonies hat aren't.It's also surprising hot. I don't know how it manages it, but it's really warm.I regret buying this not because it's terrible but because it's very annoying, but not so terrible I feel like I can just give it away,as I just bought it, but now have had it too long to return it trying to convince myself "it's not that bad". It seems durable, so I can't even hope it falls apart.If you are going to be regular wearing this for any length of time, do yourself a favor and consider another option.

This is a great hat. I looked at several and sent a couple back that just didn't work. It is stylish and fits great. The quality is really good and when the package arrived, it was perfect. This company goes above and beyond.

This is a great all-purpose hat that keeps my face out of the sun when it's boiling outside. It's surprisingly lightweight and cool which is a huge bonus. There were a few negative reviews about it somewhere which made me laugh. I saw Eddie Bauer hats for over 50 bucks so I'll take this one over that any day.

Me encanta este sombrero. Su tamaño es perfecto, se puede doblar para llevarlo en la bolsa. Excelente material y protege muy bien del sol ademas de que es muy bonito. Claro que lo volveria a comprar.

The colour and the shape are fantastic. Finishing of the stitching and design gives a rich look.
