The right rit for a narrow space
After moving to a new building, our old In/Out board didn't fit anywhere on our new reception area walls. For 2 months we propped it on an easel, which was very awkward for writing notes about our whereabouts -- something we often do. Ultimately I decided to stack two of the Quartet Matrix Magnetic In/Out boards to fit an area that is too narrow for all the larger, more common boards. The two 16 X 11 boards together ended up being a good solution since one board doesn't have enough rows for our 18 staff (plus room to grow). The only thing lost by switching to the two small boards was being able to move one's marker to the hour when s/he would return; instead, one must write in the time of her/his return. These boards are attractive and, once mounted, easy to write on with dry erase markers -- I recommend Expo Click Retractable Low Odor Fine Tip Dry Erase Markers, 3 Black Markers (1751665)

This is nice, but the magnets that come with it are too big and scratches the board.
This is a nice board, but order the scratch-less magnet pins. They are perfect for the board and does not scratch the board. The magnets that come with this board turns your fingers grey-black. The size is too big for the box and when you drag it to the out or in....it scratches the board. I ordered the scratch-less, colored, magnetic pins and they work work perfectly. We have it hanging in our school office.

Nice and big
This board is a lot larger than I expected it to be. It’s wonderful and I would recommend it. Installation was easy as well.

A little cheaply made
I ordered this to keep track of my students and not more than 5 minutes had passed it fell off the wall. I installed it a different way and now it has worked ok, just not made very sturdy. And make sure you don’t install it with the Velcro stickers.

Fine, but probably not worth the price
At the time of this review, I purchased the 11" x 14" model of this item for a little over $40.00. The size and quality of the whiteboard is fine, but not the quality expected for the price. Regardless, the description stated that it would include "magnetic in/out circles, magnetic name strips, self-stick vinyl letters, wet-erase magnetic remark strips and water-soluble marker"; included in the box was the magnetic in/out circles, Velcro to stick to a wall, and the water-soluble marker. Nothing else; perhaps the other items are included with a different model, but not this basic one.Otherwise, it's fine. Not good, not bad, just fine.

Great for the money
This board is great. We actually use it for another purpose and just put labels on top of what is printed. It is heavy duty, large enough to write on, but doesn't take up the whole wall. It's perfect for our needs.

Check for shipping damage...save the box..will warp over time
Ordered 2 of these over the last 6 months. The first one arrived damaged; it was dented but usable. I did not return it because I threw away the box it came in which was basically shredded anyway. The second one I ordered as a replacement a few months later was in usable shape even though again the box was ripped up.Other than the poor design of the box which obviously results in these getting damaged in shipping, I have one other major issue and that is that both of them have warped over time. The first one sat in my office against the wall for a few months due to procrastination on my part in hanging it and when I was ready to hang it I found it had basically warped by several inches from side to side and top to bottom, making it unusable. That was the reason for purchasing the second one.I checked the second one for damage and warping and there was again minor damage to the face but it was not warped at all. We hung it on the wall and I noticed a week ago that it was pulling away from the wall at the lower right corner which seemed odd. It has now gotten worse and I measured it as being 1/2" away form the wall. There are no special circumstances in our office that should cause and the board is secure at the top so it isn't like it got knocked off and damage. Plus the other board did the same thing over time. I think it has something to do with the frame or manufacturing. In any case, I would use caution when purchasing this or other Quartet whiteboard products due to my experience. I took pictures and will try to post them when I get a chance.
