Can tjis be done from the underside of sofa with tje foam stillnin as in those sofas tjwhere the cusion is prt of the whole cover and not separate?

Yes, but you might have to add a board to the frame on the underside. We used wood screws and glue to attach a 1×2 board for the spring clips. It is harder to get the leverage to stretch the springs when doing it from the underside. You may also need to replace the foam in the cushions. For us it was worth it, sectional couch like new.

Are these couch Springs 27in if laid flat or does it account for the arch (around 1,2,or 3" rise in the center)?

If you know the width inside the couch/seat/whatever, add a couple/few more inches to the length that you purchase. Then you can adjust the arch as you like. A ended up snipping off 2/3 humps to line things up with my existing springs.

I've got a couch that needs some new springs, the depth measured is 25", will these springs be sufficient?

If the distance measured between the spring rails is 25" then these may be too long. I'd suggest taking a look at the 25" springs that we we offer.

What kind of screws do you recommend?

Depends. Are you screwing into metal or wood.
