The solder in the kit doesn’t actually melt. You have to buy some elsewhere. And the flux is extremely sticky

Soldering Iron out of the box DOSNT WORK
I was searching around for a decent soldering iron with a case so it wouldn’t get banged up when i found this kit and thought it’d be perfect but unfortunately right out of the case the iron DID NOT WORK the screen didn’t turn on, pressing a bunch of buttons and nothing. honestly this would be a 5 star all day with everything that comes in the kit, especially the flux is amazing and the iron and swappable tips feel of really good quality. but unfortunately all of that renders useless if the soldering iron is broke :(
