Wilson Traditional Leather Football

Excellent Quality & Made in the USA! I am very impressed with this ball. My 10-year-old son loves it and all of his teammates fight over who gets to toss it with him! Genuine leather is the only way to go if you want to practice and play with the real deal! I also own a Wilson football brush and wax prep kit. If you have a leather ball, you can make it last for years upon end if you treat it with Wilson wax and brush it regularly.

This is exactly what we needed and the exact same ball used in my twin boys peewee football league. One of my boys is a center and deep snapper and we needed something to practice snapping the ball at home and wanted the exact same ball he uses in the games and practice and this is it. It’s a good quality game ball that should last long past the time they will be using this size ball.

My son decided he wanted to play flag football at the YMCA. I was unsure what size ball he would be using, but this K2/pee wee one was it. I wanted a nice leather ball for him to learn to play with, and this one fits the bill nicely. This one has been durable and a great choice. Also, since kids hands are small at this age, it can be SLIGHTLY under-inflated and still keep a good shape while making it easier for little hands.

My daughter turned 5 this year and when I bought the Official NFL Game Ball off Amazon, she was immediately drawn to it. Unfortunately the ball is really to big for her to really play with or use. But she gets a kick out of playing with it on game days on the couch. I decided that I would go out and find a ball that would fit her small hands. After doing my homework I landed on the Wilson K2 Pee-Wee ball (appropriate for ages 6 - 10). We gave her the ball today and she was immediately asking to go out and throw with her grandfather. He and I got a chance to toss the ball too. Great fun! The construction is fantastic. I would say that except for the white painted stripes and the smaller size, this ball is constructed with the same care of the Official NFL Game ball from Wilson. The leather is great and will be a cherished ball in our family for years to come.

There are a lot of things to like about this football, and I would say it was a solid purchase. It has held up well, and it is a good size for small hands. I have included a picture of it alongside a standard football for size comparison. One downside I would say is because of the material. It is a little harder, so for younger kids who are afraid of the ball or afraid of getting hurt it does sting a little and there are some other products on the market that are a little bit softer.

I bought this football for my nephew for his birthday. I specifically wanted a real leather football, after looking in a couple of department stores and having no success finding one that wasn't made of synthetic materials and made overseas. I came to amazon and found this ball I couldn't have been happier, it is a far superior product compared to the imitations. It had the look and feel that a football should have and the mark of a quality product. I would recommend that product to anyone.

This was a Christmas gift for my 8 yr old son, and he loves it. We've had many catches with it and it's the real deal, not toy. Made in USA, as a football should be (C'mon, we're the only country that plays the game! No offense, Canada). Note that it's real leather, so it will take a beating if used on pavement.

I should have listened to the NEGATIVE reviews about this football GOING FLAT AFTER NOT MUCH USE. I have 3 sons, twins playing Jr. High football; and a Freshman. I thought investing in a nice leather WILSON product would be worthwhile for our practices at home. We have always used the "cheapos" from those "department stores". I thought getting the same type of gameball used at little league practices would be a nice improvement. I am VERY disappointed that this ball went flat (air coming through the laces) after just 2 months!!! I guess the only real quality one can find anymore is having to pay the whole hog/getting whatever "top dollar" product is out there. I love the feel of leather more than composite; and will be getting another one from my local sporting goods store...but you can bet it WONT be a WILSON. Disappointed Dad in Texas

Der Ball ist nach nicht einmal 2 Monaten mäßiger Nutzung kaputt gegangen obwohl es keine Schäden am Ball gibt. Die Luft entweicht immer wieder und der Football ist demnach unbrauchbar. Für diesen Preis eine Frechheit. Nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Verkäufer gab es trotzdem keinen Ersatz oder Geld zurück. Finde ich sehr schade, denn es ist schließlich ein stolzer Preis. Würde also nicht empfehlen hier einen Lederball zu kaufen, da anscheinend fehlerhafte Produkte (Nahtverarbeitung am Ball) verkauft werden und es keine "Garantie" dafür gibt, dass der Football seine Luft behält.

Diese Rezension betrifft den Lieferanten und nicht den Artikel! Auch wenn man ein teureres Produkt bekommt als den bestellten Ball so ist es wenig hilfreich wenn man einen Jugendball braucht und einen Erwachsenen "The Duke" bekommt..
