DreamSky Small Digital Alarm Clock for Bedroom with Large Big Numbers

I needed a clock with large numbers, compact size, alarm , and easy basic setting. This is perfect. The numbers are bold, and dimmable, which we did, and it is great in a bedroom. I have no trouble using or seeing the time any hour of the day our night. i purchased the black with white numbers. If you have vision issues you may want this clock, glad I purchased it.

This clock is a great size, and it's easy to read in the day or night. The way of making the numbers dimmer or brighter is easy, and a great system. Pushing a button in the back, (which is easy to find near the top without looking) from a brightness of 5, down to 1, and another option to not have the numbers lit at all at zero, with a simple button push to turn it on in the dark to see the time. I like to keep it at a brightness level of #1 at night, and at #4 in the daytime. I haven't used the alarm yet. It performs very accurately and is a very good value for the money.

Excellent for this family: BRIGHT light, large digits, fits on small shelf area, Not too bad to figure out how to set it. (Not a "slam - dunk" but decent.) The face is FLAT so there is no distortion when viewing it NOT straight on. Went through 5 other clocks before getting this one. Just what I wanted!

We love this clock. It has large letters yet small footprint . Makes no noise The best thing is it's dimming settings lets you set light level down in four steps. We like at the lowest so there no light in room but you can see time at night. It is so low that in a day light room it's hard to see but at night its perfect. for some who like a dark room at night. It is the only one I could find that did this. We chose the amber color witch is very present to the eye . They have outhers. Would buy again

I'm happy with this compact, no-frills digital clock, but boy, the numbers are HUGE—two inches high, and bold! It is indeed handy to be able to see the time from across a room, but I have the clock on a bedside table, and from bed at night the time appears overwhelmingly large! (My fault for not recognizing that fact from the reviews and videos I checked out before purchasing) Otherwise it's exactly what I was looking for—small, sleek design with a useful USB port, and orange/amber light, less disruptive to sleep in the night—and thank heavens it's got a dimmer!!

This has been my nightstand clock for 8 months as I post this review. I like that it has a much smaller footprint AND much bigger numerals than my previous alarm clock, which had also gotten very dim over the years. My eyes aren't as good, either, as they were when I bought the previous one, but with this one, I can very easily read the time in the middle of the night without glasses -- or during the day, across the room, although I keep my bedroom rather dark. The display has a nice brightness range, and as I recall, I turned it down almost to the dimmest setting. Green was my color choice, as I find it very relaxing and a little unusual. I rarely use the alarm feature; I just wanted something that was easier to see. So although the alarm sound is a bit harsh for my preference, it doesn't matter to me. I wasn't sure I'd use the extra USB port (the one not used to power the clock). But I do, every night, to charge my smartphone, just making sure to block notifications and calls. For what it's worth, the phone's display says "Charging rapidly," unlike with the USB port on a few other devices I own. I leave the charging wire plugged into the clock all the time, to have one less connection to make. Setting the time and alarm time is pretty intuitive, and the instructions were helpful for my first time or two. And there are clear markings on the back, for when those instructions are inevitably lost. I tested the battery backup (along with all other features) when the clock first arrived, and it held the time as promised, though it can't *display* the time while the power is out. (They are upfront about that in the instructions). I put two new alkaline AAA batteries in it when I received it, and haven't had to replace them. I'm guessing they'll last a couple of years. The clock is very lightweight, but I can move the phone charging cord around without inadvertently moving the clock. A stiffer cord might be a bit trickier, if that's a concern to anyone. My only complaint, a small one, is that the unit I received is very slightly fast, based on a glance at my smartphone's time display each day. I don't assume every unit produced is exactly the same. Although I don't have specific numbers, I would guestimate that it gains about 10 seconds a month. So in half a year, when it's time (in many parts of the world) to reset anyway, due to Daylight Saving Time, it might only be a minute off. I was going to give the clock only 4 stars for that reason alone, but as I think about it, it's not even bad enough to take one star away. I have a DVR clock that *loses* closer to a *minute* a month. But this may be more critical for some people than it is for me -- retired! Overall, very pleased.

This is a nice clock with big numbers! My husband doesn't see too well so I got this clock for the living room on the stereo stand and we can see the time all over the room! It's perfect! It's dimmable, has an alarm, can be regular or military time, we don't need any thing else! And it has a battery back up!

Very easy to use. The new cable boxes do not have clocks to these are small and compact they look good and very easy to read. They have the basic functions that you would need from a clock. You can dim the color to your liking as to not draw attention to them in the room. Seem very durable and stable.

All the features work perfectly. Just discovered I can't deactivate the alarm for vacations etc!

Like: good size of display yet very compact. Brightness of display is very good. Accuracy is perfect. Dislike: very expensive, should have one third of the price. USB jack at the back protrude out making it very difficult to mount on wall. You may Neel an L shape USB adapter to reduce the gap between wall and device. Overall a good buy if you are willing to spend the money.
