Excellent product
I have a really gnarly flyaway beard and this stuff does a great job of keeping it looking good all day long. Excellent hold but still washes out easily and thoroughly. Unscented is a plus to avoid the beard balm-aftershave stink contests. Great price as well.

Easy to work into to mustache.
I liked the conditioning aspect of this product as it works into the hairs.I follow by working in a stronger holding mustache wax to finish. This way there is less pulling on hairs as the wax is worked into the mustache.I don't use much product as it seems to be easily working into my mustache.Mark Jones

No coconut smell
It seems to make your beard softer which I liked. But I was expecting it to smell better. Not much of a smell and gave me a headache after an hour of wearing it.

A great balm at a awesome price.
I've tried a variety of balms and oils over the years and Woody's is definitely one of the best. It makes my beard soft and manageable, with a nice, subtle smell, without being greasy and price-wise, it can't be beat. As others have mentioned, it is different from other balms, but that's not a bad thing. Just make sure your hands are wet before you add the balm to your palms...it'll help with working it into your beard. Also, I would recommend ordering from Peep Partners through Amazon....just a great seller.

Disliked ingredients and smell
I was looking for a more natural based beard balm and thought this would be good since the messaging about this promotes beeswax and coconut oil. However, while this does have those, they’re not the primary ingredients. There’s Petrolatum, Paraffin, and Lanolin Wax listed first. And Coconut oil is buried further down in the list.I also didn’t like the smell. It’s hard to describe but I would say it smells like a “clean” or “floral” perfume scent. It probably would be fine in a soap but I don’t like it on my face. I noticed I developed a headache when I put the balm in my beard.Performance wise, it seems fine as far as beard balms go. Kind of held hairs in place, kind of didn’t. But that’s been my experience with other beard balms too.If you’re looking for something with fewer, cleaner, and more natural ingredients, I’m trying out Mountaineer Brand heavy duty beard balm. Their ingredients are Beeswax, coconut oil, almond oil, castor oil, grapefruit oil, and essential oils.

Works great on my beard
The first purchase this product a few months ago and I reordered I really like the way it holds my beard and with my beard feels after applying this product and combing it through it smells good too

Not to stiff & holds!
Was looking for a balm that wasn't too sticky but just right. This is it! Keeps my beard tamed all day but not sticky and touchable. Rinses out easily.

It works for me
I found this balm easy to use and it has the right amount of hold. This is a very personal thing and so I can see where another guy might want a different consistency. It would also depend on the length of the beard. I have a goatee that is about an inch long, just for reference. Using is once should be enough for the day, unless you are like me and you have a habit of touching your beard when you are thinking hard. Even then, I mostly just to need to reshape rather than apply more balm. The scent is not strong, but I find it pleasant. I've only had this product for a few days, so I can't say what anyone else will think about the scent. You'd have to get within a few inches of my face to notice. The price of this balm is a little more reasonable than some of the others, and I'm not sure that it's any worse for it.
