Moves a limited amount of air. Works for me. I use it to blow away sawdust on my router table.
Quiet as a mouse.

Good Fan - But Has Hardware Shortcomings Manufacturer Should Correct
The media could not be loaded. This is a high quality fan. I am trying this style and another style to exhaust the warm air from my closed in shelf / 3-sided-box in a walk-in closet that I use as my wiring closet for Wi-Fi, home network, NAS and security video recorder. It is a solid fan but has three hardware shortcomings that the manufacturer should be correcting:1) the screw holes on the 'back' side of the fan intended to mount the grill are NOT COUNTERSUNK despite the provided screws being intended for countersunk holes. It is ironic that the holes right next to them to mount this fan in a chassis are countersunk.2) There are only two screws provided (although the instruction sheet says four), so it is presumed they are for the grill. That said, those screws are too long and project beyond the grill in what could be a dangerous length to catch skin depending on where the fan is mounted. So, I just took some simple SHEET METAL SCREWS I had on hand and screwed the grill directly to the housing.3) Numerous buyers rightly complain that the thin wiring to the fan has no strain relief and could be torn free, particularly in the applications where it says this could be a blower for a BBQ or fireplace. I SOLVED that by applying a self-adhesive wire dressing clips I had on hand plus a the twist tie that was on the fan's cord.Looking forward to finding the right combination of (variable) fan speed and noise to exhaust the desired amount of heat.

Fan good. Cord/switch is a fire hazard.
The Fan:So far so good. It has maybe 72hrs on it so far recirculating 65C air. I worry about the electronics... but so far it's holding up well. It does not move as much air as some other models, but I knew that when I bought it. For my use, it's plenty good enough. The cord:Throw it away. Or fix it. The switch on this cord is a fire hazard. The wire is poorly crimped and I was able to pull the wire out of the contacts inside the switch. The switch makes kind of intermittent contact when in the ON position... which creates a high resistivity connection... which makes heat... which melted part of the switch. Thankfully I was in the room when the device turned off spontaneously to diagnose why and noticed that the switch was hot. DO NOT USE THIS SWITCH. Or do. It's your choice and I'm not your mom.

Good
Works good. No problems

Quiet, I thought for the excellent air it delivers.
Arrived the next day, really solid build, and will hopefully last a while. I’ll definitely buy another one if I need it.

Works as advertised /fast shipping
To illustrate the CFM: it might blow a ping pong ball across the flat surface of a table, but not a golf ball. I am using this behind an upright freezer that requires 3 inches of gap behind it. The pantry closet it sits in does not allow the required gap. So the freezer was dysfunctional until I placed this blower into the too narrow gap to facilitate air and thermal exchange. Problem solved. The fan requires someone who is electrically savvy to connect the wires. If you don't know what you are doing with electrical wires, buy a more user friendly fan than this one. Know your own limitations. You will need electrical tape skills and/or soldering with heat shrink tube skills. If you don't know what I am talking about, do not buy this.

worked for a week
This fan will not run at any voltage less than 11.5. I'm seriously disappointed with this. I have it connected to a potentiometer and I can't even bring it off full speed without it shutting off.I measured the voltage coming off the terminals to the fan and once it hits 11.5 the fan shuts off. This is connected directly to a 12v battery for testing purposes. I wanted a fan I could adjust from 5-9-12 volts to adjust accordingly to a thermostat. Guess that isn't happening. Couldn't adjust the voltage to this fan and now it has started vibrating terribly. I would return it except I hacked the power leads for my own needs. Save your 15 bucks and find another fan. This thing is garbage and only worked for about a week.

noise
The fan makes a lot of noise when running at 12 volts. I reduced the voltage to 5 volts and the noise is much less but i don’t get the volume of air i wanted.
