My small yellow parrot had lost most of his crown feathers and after about a month I saw a vast improvement. He looks great now and I continue to give him and his cockatoo cage companion a little in their water every day so they continue getting a good source of additional vitamins.

So far, I am really happy with this product. I was surprised to see that our grey actually dug down through her seeds just to eat the powder from the bottom of her dish, I really did not expect that. However, she does indeed seem to like the flavor of the powder and she is ingesting it easily. I am not sure if this is supposed to be flavored or not, but there seems to be something there she likes regardless. Her feathers are still improving, but I have also been using a topical spray because she really needed it also. I would recommend this product based on the other ratings and our bird's willingness to easily ingest it, if I notice anything to sway my opinion I will update.

We acquired some parrots with BAD plummage plucking issues. I was looking for something to maybe stop them from plucking so I figured I would try this. It says it will promote healthy feather growth where they plucked, but I didn't see a difference. It might work better on birds that aren't already plucked bare. But we weren't happy with it. I gave 4 stars for the price and quality of the product.

This stuff work great my bird was in heat and was stressed and was blucking her feathers so I sat to give this into the food and about 2 to 3 weeks later her feathers started to grow back

I bought other products to help my Congo African Grey grow her feathers back she was almost bald from plucking none of the other products worked .. I decided to buy and try this and I AM So Glad I did , within 2 weeks of giving my Parrot this once a day all her feathers are back and she has stopped plucking pulling out her feathers , I will continue buying this for her !! So Happy with how much this helped my Parrot !!!

I paid big bux for this - and my bird is worth it! Unfortunately, he will not have anything to do with it! I tried mixing it in water and in Jell-O, sprinkling it on his food and treats - but he stays away completely! Not even my Sun Conure would accept it as edible. I am very disappointed because it tastes so bad to my birds. Live and learn.

I don't do surveys or reviews but I'm making an exception. My African Grey started pulling out his downy feathers and shredding his primary ones. I tried a different vitamin supplement but it didn't help. I then tried this product and after a little more than a week I started seeing his feathers start to come back in. His diet is strictly pellet food so I was concerned that he wouldn't get the full advantage of the powder. But when he gets his morning feeding I sprinkle the supplement on top then spritz it very lightly with water. Anyone who has African Greys understand their suspicion of any changes so it took awhile for him to adjust but now he's doing well and I think he is actually enjoying the supplement.

Product is wonderful. This may not happen for all birds, but for my five, after two days of sprinkling this mixture in their warm food mix their feathers were more vibrant. We have a female orange wing amazon who has been having feather issues on her chest. She is of breeding age and we have used her nutrition with more calcium and vitamin d but it hasn't helped. After a full week of using this supplement in her food her feathers are starting to look better. After months of trying to give her foods for the extra nutrition this supplement did it within a week. The blue on her head is vibrant and her greens are brighter. She is more active acting as well. Our illigers macaw is molting right now and he has a extreme attitude during this time. Adding this supplement to his food has calmed him and has helped his molting go faster I believe. The others, a double yellow napped and a yellow napped and a orange winged Amazon are all molting better and their greens and yellows and oranges are more vibrant. The seller sent me a dosage suggestion sheet that has helped. I have given more scoops of the supplement to the two who need it according to the recommendation. The product comes with a small scoop. The supplement has a little mealy smell but the birds took to it right away. The seller informed me that it may take time but it did not with mine. I mixed it with a oatmeal, bulgar,millet, dried fruit gruel. I will continue to buy this as long as it's available.

My birds do Not like the flavor of this.
