Based on the price, I was expecting cheaper quality hooks, but I was very pleasantly surprised!! The hooks are a great quality with comfortable hand grips and a great range of sizes for just about any project! Loved the different colors. The embroidery needles and stitch markers were an excellent addition to this set! Love the little storage bag as well. Excellent purchase for any crocheter on a budget!

Excellent comfort and control. I’m 76 and I’ve been doing crochet for over 50 years using my original Boyle all metal crochet hooks. Just in the last few weeks I noticed I was having a little trouble controlling my stitches. Did a little research and ordered these cushioned hooks. Voila! I’m in the middle of a project with the 1.25mm size and I love this hook! It’s comfortable to hold, but not “sticky and not bulky. The end is sufficiently pointed to insert easily into the project and the hook sufficiently deep to hold on to the thread. The metal is ultra smooth and sized to maintain the loop size. Wish I had bought these years ago.

These are great! Such a great kit. Comes with a pouch to hold the hooks. It comes with ten stitch markers, one pouch, and a lot of sewing needles in addition to the crochet hooks. These crochet hooks are very comfortable to hold in my hand.

What's good is great. I vasilated about how to rate these. I only needed a 1.5mm (left mine behind on a trip). I also wanted to replace my old steel hooks (both Boye and Bates) with ergonomic types. Individual hooks of high quality and reputation tend to be expensive so thought I'd take a chance on this set. 40+ years crochet experience.Most of the hooks are great. 11 hooks from E-3.5mm to N-10mm. All smooth, yarn glides nicely. Handles comfortable, well marked with both black "printed" on one side and recessed unpainted on the other. The remaining ten hooks, .5mm through 2.75 are mostly good, but a couple have mfg defects. Fortunately, the 1.5 I was after is perfect. The 1.0mm hook has a rough area in the hook, might be able to smooth out. The 1.25 mm has a malformed hook area that renders it useless. These aren't sizes I typically use, so this isn't a problem for me. The markings on the ten smaller hooks are only the recessed type and a bit difficult to see. I've used a fine tip pen to make them easier to read. The case is decent enough, with elastic loops to hold each hook in its place, and a netted section that helps hold the hooks in place. It zips closed and I'll likely use it, although I hadn't originally planned to. Comes with a good pair of snipping scissors that I like and fits into case.Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Great price, mostly good hooks. But they fall down on the smaller hooks' quality control. I'll guess it's hit and miss as to which and how many hooks are good in other sets. But if you're looking for 3.5 and larger hooks, you'll likely have good luck. Again, the price on these for the quality of the good (and numerous) hooks is excellent.

Such a great value buy! Lots of hooks to choose from and high quality tapestry needles and stitch markers. I also really like the yarn scissors that were included- never knew what I was missing until I tried them. Highly recommend. This would be a perfect gift for the new crocheter in your life!

Very nice set of crochet hooks. Came in a nice case with 2 sewing needles and a small package of markers. Am looking forward to using them. Excellent price for 5 ergonomic hooks.

I can't stress this enough, these hooks are amazing. They are perfect for anyone who wants to start crocheting. The scissors they came with work great too. These hooks have allowed me to start finally learning how to crochet, and I don't have to worry about if I have the right sized hook. The grips are also really comfortable and I have experienced absolutely no issues. Even the little case is the perfect size to fit in a purse and is really cute. I'm really happy I bought this.
