We tried one that screwed to tighten and it was miserable to install and building place only had smaller pop in covers.This one is tight and was easy to install. We did put a small amount of plumbers putty on to make sure it's water tight.Stainless steel so should be long lasting and matches the sink perfectly.It is a bit pricey but works well.

I hated the sprayer but when we took it out there was a hole. Finally got it filled with this. Snapped right in and solved my problem.

Loose fitting for a precut whole in my sink. I suppose I could try to pry and bend the teeth but afraid they will break off.

The 2" is chrome plated stainless steel, not brushed stainless. There are no gaskets, you could use putty, I used clear silicone. It was on sale. Upside is sturdy construction.

I bought the sink hole cover snap because cover on the pop up sink stopper in my bathroom sink was damaged.The cover snap worked perfectly. I just unscrewed the top of the pop up sink stopper and placed it inside the cover. I folded down the edges and screwed the top back into place. It was just that simple.

While it is very well made, it should just pop into the sink hole. But, no matter how hard I tried it would not go into the hole. I tried a rubber hammer and it still would not work. All it did was dent

I was a bit worried about buying this after reading all the reviews that said it doesn't fit very well. I have a white cast iron Kohler kitchen sink and this is perfect!!! It fits so well and so tightly that you actually have to exert quite a bit of pressure to snap it in. It's snug and tight and perfectly flush with the top of the sink. It's so snug, I imagine it wouldn't be easy to snap it out. And it looks great! I used it to plug the hole where I used to have a water filter spigot.
