Works great for glass protection on a HF blast cabinet. I've been using this vinyl for many years. Much more durable than the flimsy sheets with double sided tape.

I must have missed the memo, I'm sure it's buried in the description of "VViViD Clear Self-Adhesive Lamination Vinyl Roll" BUT this is a 12"x 60" cut of Orcal Clear Glossy Vinyl. When I received my "roll" it was sealed with a piece of masking tape that had all 4 Brands printed on it (3M/Siser/Orcal/VViViD. Maybe I'm behind the times in my own hobby, but had the description said any of the other brands, I probably would have done a little more price comparison (knowing this is an Orcal product) and/or bought the bigger roll as this is a brand I already know and trust. Throwing VViViD in there just made things confusing (for me at least.) Onto the product....I am not making professional stickers nor do I have an Etsy shop I am just a hobbyist and a mom who thinks it's ridiculous that these stickers are $5 a pop I also like to make stuff so here I am. I read about a couple different methods to give my stickers and added layer of scratch and water protection and this seem to be the next step in my trial and error. Although I am reading quite a bit about cold lamination and this product may actually work in that process if it does I will update this review and let you know. So far so good, like anything else it takes some trial and error and patience to get the vinyl to lay down with no bubbles or wrinkles so be prepared to lose some stickers in the process. Once I have some decent looking finish stickers I will add those as well. Mostly I just wanted to highlight the fact that this is a name brand product sold under a weird name so if you're familiar with any of those brands above that's what you're buying. And if you already knew all of this well I'm sorry I wasted 15 seconds of your life reading my review.

After much fiddling, I have finally found the right settings to kiss-cut printed stickers laminated with this vinyl, then cut them out of the sticker paper completely, all in one step.First, I created my stickers in Design Space ("Kiss Cut Stickers" in the screenshot), then added the cut for the outside of the sticker sheet lined up 3 times. Attach everything and print if necessary.Then, I created a custom material in Cricut Design Space. I set the pressure to 175 for 2 passes.Your machine will "cut" the stickers out twice and the outer edge of the sheet 6 times. This worked perfectly for me :) This vinyl is thick and glossy. It makes really nice stickers and has an incredible price point. These settings work for me, but your Cricut or sticker paper may be slightly different, but hopefully this little tutorial-in-a-review will give you a good starting point! The picture is from my tests so it doesn't look like my final stickers, but hopefully this shows how glossy the vinyl is :)

It’s good laminate, but I got it for stickers and it makes everything curl. Not able to use.

Works very well

I used this to protect the plastic drip tray and water dispenser button on my fridge. The fridge is about a year old and was starting to show scratches where drinking vessels contact the surfaces. The precut rubber and plastic drip tray protectors on Amazon were expensive and would not protect the button nor fit properly on my drip tray. This product was very easy to cut to size with a razor blade and the backing paper has grid marks to assist with measurements. This stuff is basically invisible on this surface and looks like it’s not even there. I understand some of the reviews complaining of bubbles and difficulty maneuvering the film. I used a credit card to apply it to the surfaces and was able to push out the few bubbles I had. For the price, you can’t beat it. I’m writing this review about 3 days after application and it’s holding up well despite getting water on it several times a day. Take your time while applying to the surface and use a squeegee or card to smooth it out and you won’t be disappointed. I’m very happy with this product. With a 6 foot roll, I have enough to reapply 30 times over in the unlikely event it starts to peel. The adhesive is strong and doesn’t leave a residue.
