VViViD Clear Self-Adhesive Lamination Vinyl Roll for Die-Cutters and Vinyl Plotters (12" x 6ft)

Super simple idea that works perfectly. Put the laminate over my sticker on the laptop and it looks great while keeping everything protected underneath. No more worrying about the sticker peeling or getting scratched up over time. Easy to apply, stays clear and does not mess with the look of the sticker at all. One of those small purchases that just solves a problem cleanly. Highly recommend if you are a sticker person who also wants to keep things looking nice.

This is a high-quality product. It's noticeably better than other laminates. Glassier. Easier to use. Less bubbling. I buy a lot for business, and this works better than any other products. I've compared it to many! Including 3M Scotchcal 8518 and Avery Dennison. I highly recommend this clear laminate! The roll size is ideal. I cut what I need and no waste. This sticks perfectly, yet adjustable if needed without destroying. A+

After much fiddling, I have finally found the right settings to kiss-cut printed stickers laminated with this vinyl, then cut them out of the sticker paper completely, all in one step. First, I created my stickers in Design Space ("Kiss Cut Stickers" in the screenshot), then added the cut for the outside of the sticker sheet lined up 3 times. Attach everything and print if necessary. Then, I created a custom material in Cricut Design Space. I set the pressure to 175 for 2 passes. Your machine will "cut" the stickers out twice and the outer edge of the sheet 6 times. This worked perfectly for me :) This vinyl is thick and glossy. It makes really nice stickers and has an incredible price point. These settings work for me, but your Cricut or sticker paper may be slightly different, but hopefully this little tutorial-in-a-review will give you a good starting point! The picture is from my tests so it doesn't look like my final stickers, but hopefully this shows how glossy the vinyl is :)

I have been using Oraguard 236 laminate to cover replica machine labels for machines that I refurb, and while its a good product, it can be finicky to apply. I decided to try this and was very pleasantly surprised at its ease of installation, clarity and thickness. You can cut whatever size laminate you need, the backing peels super easy, and it squeegees down with few to no bubbles. Some of my machines end up working outdoors, so I have put out a comparison test panel of the Oraguard and the VViViD to see how they perform in direct sunlight over a dark blue background. I'll update when I have some results! In the meantime, I'll stick with the VViViD. Easy is good.

This product is perfect for anyone starting a small business crafting stickers. Not only is the laminate thick and waterproof, but it gives a nice glossy look that really make the colors super VViVD as the brand name insinuates. I've also tried the satin finish that comes in a bigger roll and didn't like it as it's textured and not as clear. If you're looking for something that your customers will really notice and appreciate, this is a great addition to your sticker-making needs. There is one con I've found in the reviews and in personal experience that I was able to work around. It can get scratched very easily using a vinyl squeegee to apply. I tried everything including using felt covered squeegees but it still left scratches that just bugged me. My solution to this is to apply gently using a squeegee and then run it through a laminator on the heat setting. This will not only clear all the small bubbles and foggy look from not using a ton of pressure earlier to apply it, but also leave it coming out perfect. One side note is you don't want the laminator getting too hot as it will cause the laminate to bubble off the sticker paper. I avoid this by running my laminator for about 1 min 40 secs (max heat is 2 min) and then switching to the cold setting to keep it at that temp. Run your sticker paper with the laminate already applied through once and you'll be good to go. Hope this helps someone out there.

I really like the 3mil thickness of this VVIVID laminate. It's sturdy and applies well. But I keep finding weird, semi deep machine like cuts in the film, sheet after sheet. These aren't normal micro scratches. They're visible in certain lighting and have already ruined multiple pages of stickers for me. I've gone through about 20% of the roll and the problem hasn't stopped. Maybe I'm being picky.

Great for cutting out shapes on scroll or band saw, put on wood first, then glue your pattern on top, peaks off easy with no residue.

now I can put the remaining stickers on my car. the 3 mm thickness is just perfect. it does not hurt the sticker or my vehicle. everybody should get some. this product is the best UPDATE: works great in the rain. still stuck strong

Easy to use, does what it says on the tin, works well with my vinyl cutter, just have to experiment with the settings, makes good laminated stickers. Expensive due to the postage , as its dispatched from the USA, which there is no mention of this in the listing, as there is a UK address, very misleading, but saying that , once it was dispatched, it took about 10 days to arrive. I'm going to search for a UK supplier in future Edit: Just noticed that the item I purchased, was from another seller ( GEAC LTD), who it seems no longer has this item listed, sorry to the above seller if this reflects on them

I haven’t had this long enough to test the UV effectiveness but having used and applied it twice now, the quality itself does feel good. My main issue is that a sticker is used to keep the roll together which is difficult to remove and ends up damaging the first part of the roll, meaning wastage straight off the bat. You can also see the indent of where it was and it’s impossible to hide. It’s so frustrating when manufacturers do this, it’s the same with wrapping paper too. It’s also a very short roll for the money and imo is very expensive.
