Not as solid as I thought it would be. But very easy to assemble andregulate and it gives much more comfor when using your laptop in the bed.

This product serves its function well but required the use of a metal file to grind down the protruding beads leftover from the welding process. The mousepad attachment provides no friction so the mouse will slide right off if the angle shifts even slightly, so tighten it well. The various configurations allow for some creativity, but it is quite nosey when it moves around. I am satisfied overall and have accepted the fact that it will make noise whenever it moves slightly, so I try not to move it around too much.

CONS: This came with no instructions, I looked at the photo to figure it out.To prevent legs from breaking when pushing tab into slot, keep the legs together - turn the round dial instead. It will give you a more sturdy base to push on.The back lip is the unsupported side - don’t place the support clips (little black plastic brackets) there.Adjusting the legs/base to proper height was pretty aggravating - the push in buttons wouldn't pop out without some gentle wiggling.I don't think anything over a 15.6 inch screen would fit. I have 15.6 HP laptop, and it's just between the round dials with maybe a 1/2 inch gap on one side.I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable placing a free standing screen on the base without support in the back, it seems awfully wobbly to me.If you have an animal, I would place a non-slip mat beneath this so it doesn't slide.PROS: My laptop has been sitting on the plate almost an hour and the metal still feels cool to the touch.Once I did get the legs/base adjusted, the screen does appear to be at a decent level.

Not happy with how wiggly it is, but then again, I do tend to lean into my keyboard. So, it actually has helped me break that habit a bit. The mouse "platform" is not very good at all. I'm afraid it won't really hold up to long term use. Having said that, I will say that it has worked for the times I stand at my desk, and for the small amount it cost, I wasn't really expecting much more. My job is 100% typing and I stand at my desk about 1/4 to 1/2 of my work day and it does the job. I would not necessarily recommend this for anyone that uses a mouse alot or for kids as they can be harder on items. It is a good starter to see if standing is what you really want. It's light enough to move around and the adjusting legs allow for all sorts of configurations. Biggest drawback is really the mouse area.

I ordered a gift for bf. The table is completely metal, but very light, you can even take with you. On the legs are plastic clips, they quite strong, you can set a comfortable height and angle of inclination. The laptop perfectly kept under the slope, does not slip. Mouse pad size as for me, it is very convenient, in certain conditions it can be useful. Overall, a great table, really liked.

I was not prepared on how bad it actually was. Hard to assemble, I gave it to my son to do and he complained the whole time. It was smaller than I thought with barely enough room to sit on top of my lap. A big person will not be able to use. Cheap plastic material and hard to adjust to suit your needs. I could fantom leaving my computer on this on a bed or soft area. The clips were weak in holding it upright, the mouse woud easy slide off the pad and if you have a larger labtop like myself, it doesn't fit.As I say I wasn't expecting much when I bought this but didn't expect to use it that much and thought it would be okay. Not sure if I would use this period now. I will be sending back and looking for a better one.

I love this laptop table so easy to use and you set it up your comfortable way! Quality isnt the best but it works!

I am not given to writing product reviews, but this Rainbean book/computer holder item was an exception. A few years ago I bought a similar item but it was made of PVC and not superior aluminum like this book/computer holder. Also with the older one I had to stuff one leg between couch cushions to get it to fit, which ultimately resulted in a leg breaking off. No such problem with this new book/computer holder. Definitely a must buy.
