This is well made. Came with allen wrench and screws to screw on GoPro foot. The side bracket for the Mic adapter is pictured, but it did not come with the case, yet there are screw holes for it. Less one star for high cost and less two stars for no Pictured mic bracket/holder on the side.

I just received my Ulanzi Vlogging Camera Cage for my Osmo Action today. I had purchased one from another company (see my review) and had to return it for multiple reasons. I can say this about the Ulanzi.It is well thought out, rock solid aluminum frame, anodized perfect, and most important of all my Osmo slips right in with the rear screen cover glass installed on the camera. One other thing that is better than the last one I bought is the sliding retaining door on the back slides in from the top. The one on the other product slid in from the bottom which was not good as it could interfere with other mounting hardware when slid in. The fit is snug (not overly tight) and the front lens cover does not have to be removed as I did have to with my previous returned product. The design is perfect and I am a retired Tool & Die maker of 50 years so I know a quality machined part when I see one. It also came with a little microphone holder as well. Another important thing is that the bottom and right side has 1/4-20 holes for tripod mounting. It also came with the standard GoPro style mount adapter for a selfie stick or any other standard GoPro mounting hardware. This piece when installed is guided by a recess in the bottom of the camera Vlogging Cage. The small recess allows for quick alignment of the adapter when putting in the two flat head screws. It is a small detail but shows the thought that went into the design. It is this kind of detail that makes a really well engineered product. I highly recommend this product and quite frankly coming from a machining background I am impressed by its QC and engineering.Maximus

Cannot use this cage at all, if you have a screen protector for the back LCD of the Osmo Action, the fit is so thigh, that it will break and scratch the protector and the back slide has to be pushed out with a pair of pliers in order to open the cage again, extremely thigh not usable with a screen protector, will report this to Ulanzi, sending it back.Luis

This cage is much better than the original that came with the DJI Action.It is well made, and the cold shoes are placed in good locations.It is very slightly heavy compared to a plastic cage, but it is worth the trade off.

Mi dispiace molto che non esista, ad oggi, una custodia protettiva in alluminio originale DJI come questa.Con grande piacere ho acquisto ed ho utilizzato questa custodia in metallo per poter posizionare l'action camera sopra la mia fotocamera durante una sessione di riprese video per lavoro.Risulta molto comoda, quasi fondamentale, l'apertura laterale che consente una veloce estrazione della memory card e l'accesso alla porta USB-C della camera !La custodia in plastica, in dotazione con l'Osmo Action, non permette di aprire lo sportello laterale e, quindi, la sporcizia rischia sicuramente di entrare nella camera.Molto comoda la presenza di connessioni vite femmina presenti in 2 lati del case e la possibilità di non installare l'attaccto "tipo GoPro".Nel mio utilizzo risulta fondamente poter avvitare il case a cavalletti e supporti che hanno una vite maschio come connettore.Sinceramente e personalmente sono rimasto soddisfatto.Resto a disposizione per domande, sperando di poter rispondere esattamente, sul prodotto in questione.
