Perfect. Exactly what we were looking for. I bought this for my sixth grader to use in his spanish class. There's probably about wthree quarters of this dictionary he'll actually never use, but every word he might need will definitely be in there. I have the same one when I was taking college courses and it worked fantastic for me. Small -sort of pocket size if you have big pockets. It's a small book, but it's very thick. I recommend but it's probably over kill for middle school foreign language.

Useless for Study Abroad!
small, but too small for studying abroad. Took this on my trip to Cuba, and I left it there because it was basically useless to me. Instead of using the dictionary, I ended up using an app on my phone that did not require wifi. I guess this would be fine for the very basic spanish learner or for basic look-ups

Very good book and exactly what I wanted!
Just what I wanted. Not expensive. Clear to read and it didn't give me a dozen different words for "cow", for example!
