Very Best Sealer I've used and I've used some good sealers in the past!
We had just over 600 sq feet of Travertine Natural Stone Tile put in 20 years ago and not being an experienced person in tile maintenance, which you need to be IMHO, well versed in knowing what, when and how to keep it looking great since it can be a phenomenal asset to your home. As you can see by one of the pictures (I'll let you guess which one) that the tile had been sorely neglected and that one picture is actually AFTER I had completely stripped and scrubbed all the wax and sealer off it completely. The Tile actually looked like there was at least some hope, but the grout, well, it is so bad that I worried Amazon would cancel my Prime Membership if they saw it. Nevertheless, it had to be thoughtfully addressed so I used a Grout Refresh product on it and prayed a lot that this project would eventually turn out respectable after the several days, yes, more than many had I spent getting it Sealer-Worthy. This is where the Black Diamond Wet Look Stone Sealer comes in. I do have some, but limited DIY experience with sealers and know they can go horribly wrong (this is where the suicide hotline comes in) then it's a complete disaster to fix. I read a couple of unfavorable reviews with pictures and can only suspect they did something wrong. This sealer is by far the best sealer I've ever used. Follow the clear and concise directions, like don't shake it, don't let it puddle, use specific applicators, I used a pad applicator because they're simple to use and applies the sealer uniformly. Let it dry one hour between applications and apply 3 coats max, all of which I did. This Sealer performed flawlessly as you can easily see. I now have 3 excellent coats of a top-grade sealer and seriously can't believe the outstanding beauty it restored to my Tile. I give Black Diamond Wet Look Stone Sealer 5 solid stars for a superior quality product, ease of application, brilliant, finished look with zero imperfections, fair pricing and restoring my faith in sealers again. Thank you, Black Diamond, I'll be using more of your products in the future.

Great Product
Product Was delivered very quickly. It was premeasured and ready for use right out of container. After power washing the stamped concrete surface and allowing it to dry, I applied a single coat of Black Diamond which immediately started drying in our 80-degree heat. You could see a very drastic change in the concrete surface which had been dull and lackluster since the initial installation. The Black Diamond was defiantly a good choice to make the stamped concrete highlights pop and bring attention to the details.

Update
I have used this product for several years, just finished my 8th gallon. Beautiful results on gray stone here in Arizona, but with the heat, probably does not last as long as in cooler climates, also does not wear that good. But still pretty while it last. Application with pump sprayer worked great over the years, that is until this year. Something seems to have changed in the packaging or the formula. Purchased a new Home Depot sprayer, cloudy, 65 degrees, did not shake and surface clean and dry. Had 2 gallons to apply. First gallon application went perfect. Second gallon, well… Started spraying like normal then 5 minutes later, pump started clogging, tried clearing the obstruction, then sprayed and then clogging again. Kept up this process for 15 minutes and finally gave up and poured product directly on the stone and used a Swifter with no pad to spread - a mess, but the result was okay but wasted product. Sent back remainder of product and received a replacement from Amazon. Bought a new sprayer from different Home Depot hoping the previous sprayer was defective. But no, the same thing happened again with the new gallon of sealer and a new sprayer. Seal on both gallons appeared to be intact, but after spraying a short time, nothing but white snot came out of the nozzle. Since I like the results so much, from now on, I may try straining the product with a paint filter or will use a pad to apply. Worked great over the years but not this year, but of the 3 gallons applied, 1 went down perfect, but the other 2 did not. UPDATE Update - Beautiful as this product lays down, it builds up thick layers that after some time it looks terrible, even after reapplication. It took professionals to remove the layers and apply the proper sealant ($2,000). So I would not suggest using this product unless you are aware of the issues. See picture of the thick layers being removed.

Stone sealer
Do not over spray. If you do it will take longer to cure. But the finish product looks very nice

Ease of use
I used this to seal a slate floor in the entry hallway to my home. The slate now has a beautiful shine, and it looks almost new. It was easy to apply (used a paint brush) and did not have a bad odor. It was also easy to clean up.

BEST sealer on the market!
I have always sealed stone myself and do it about every two years, except this particular bathroom which needed a lot of TLC. The photo shows our travertine shower after we removed the shower doors. As you can see, the stone is pitted and worn from cleaning over the years. I hired a global "professional company" to strip, clean, and seal the stone. After four hours of sheer misery dealing with them, it looked exactly the same as it did when they arrived. It didn't even look like the stone was sealed when he left and it was still very dull. I was very nervous to apply a different sealer over the cheap impregnating sealer they applied, but at this point, I pretty much had to go for it. After some research, I realized they used a very thin coat of water based sealer (which I predict they diluted.) I watched the manufacturer's video on how to apply this particular brand (fortunately the same as all the others) and bought an applicator generally used for applying paint or stain instead of a roller like I normally use. The shiny restored stone in the 2nd photograph is after two coats. I am astonished that a product sold to the average consumer could produce such quality results and I am ditching the remaining sealers I have in my garage. A gallon was way too much for general household use, but it was worth every penny. I am your average DIYer with a little more experience than your average consumer for these types of projects. It was very easy to apply and wipe down. I did buff it a bit with a drill and 4" buffer head, but it does not need a buffer if you wipe it down properly. I left streaks because I should have grabbed another dry towel so I created work for myself. This is truly a miracle product. The photos speak for themselves!

Will it adheres to the stone
It looks great, very shinny easy to apply (in my case it was brushed on) First coat drys quickly so second coat can be applied after an hour of first. I an concerned about how well it adheres to the previous finish and how well it stands up to by-weekly mopping of floor . As most water based finishes it tends to dry out on the inside of the container and it will flake off when its poured out. I used an automotive paint strainer to catch them before they made it to the floor.

Good product
It’s not cheap, but after 4-months, the finish is still good and there is plenty left over for future coats. I used a paint roller to do 3 thin coats of sealer over 15sqm of blue black slate. It went on with no trouble and the thin coats ensured no pooling or cloudy patches (this was mentioned in a couple of other reviews).

Slate tiles look amazing
So we just finished our renovations and thought our slate tile was looking like it needed a facelift ,Wetlook sealer certainly gave it that! Cleaned the floors and applied one coat with a roller and a paintbrush ,put to much on and it will pool white so be careful to not put too much on at a time . The Floors are nice and shiny and I’m impressed how the sealer transformed them we are on day 2 of applying so they are dry and no sticking to it when walking barefoot and not seeing any residue . I’m unsure how long they will stay shiny after cleaning them so that’s something I’ll have to comment about at a later date . It doesn’t cover up scratches either ..it seems dog proof at this time as my dogs are running all over it ,overall impression and it’s early days I’m loving it !!

Wet slate
This product was wonderful! Easy to put on and dried quickly. Made our slate look freshly washed. Still have over half the jug and did about 300 sq ft.

the wet look
It had enough for 2 coats, looked pretty good, 4 days later there is no wet look and water does not pool as advertised. I was using cheaper HD sealer which did the same thing. I'm disappointed, especially taking 5 hrs to coat twice. Being generous to give 4 stars
