These sticks are generally reliable. What's more, each batch (of sticks) is separated into 4 pouches within the container so that each batch stays dry and fresh in sealed packaging. They develop fast once dipped into urine. Normally just wait around 60 to 90 seconds to see the colour develop. I'm not doing blood tests for ketones (this I would say is for people who are ill and are trying to stay within the therapeutic window). Overall very good. This is the 4th container for me. Ketosis is very supportive of physical and mental health. Ketones make a remarkable difference to both, so it's best to test with 2 sticks daily just to check your levels

I read previous comments on these before buying them and wanted to try them. No issues with these at all, accurate. The only thing I will say is, i read alot of people saying to use them as a dip test and not a flow test, I can definately say if you hold them in the flow they dont work great, Ive had more success with dipping them in for maybe 5 seconds and they work perfectly fine.

Had never tested for ketones before and wasn't sure how useful these strip would be but they are useful. Needed to educate myself about testing via YouTube. Easy to use with colour guide on the bottle. Great that they come vacuum packed in small packets so difficult to waste due to exposure to air. Will buy again!!

I am fasting for 40hrs water fast and you can see right side is mine which shows ketosis and my kids on the left side. I see this working. Going to use daily after intermittent fasting to see if I am in mild ketosis.

I got a very strong result which indicated there is something wrong so I quickly book an appointment with a doctor and got urine AND blood test done at the doctors and I was in ketosis but my ketone levels were fine and not as high as these strips suggested. I was disappointed. Then after about 2 months they stopped working all together. (I know for a fact I am still in ketosis but they wont change colour at all)

These are great. I was trying some water fasting for a few days and wanted to check on my ketosis (how long it took to get there etc) and these were super easy to use and I could clearly see when I went into ketosis and how I came out of it. The packaging is great - there are multiple sealed packets inside so you don't have the issue of opening it once and then having them all start deteriorating due to exposure. Good value and plenty of strips to test multiple times a day

Well, short answer for time sensitive readers: Disappointing, don't bother. Get a blood test kit. The full story: First test i did i was apparently somewhere between 8 and 16 mmol/l, it was that dark I should be filtered into bottles of nail varnish remover and sold off cheap down the market. Needless to say I was slightly worried and a bit shocked, could I really be in Ketoacidosis? Have I just found out I am a type two diabetic thanks to this wonderful strip of scientific know how? No, its complete bollo*ks. I bought myself the KetoBM kit, i had said to myself I wouldn't go this far with keto that i'd test my blood, but after this experience I thought to myself, what is the point in messing around? The blood result is very quick, painless and a lot more accurate. The pictures in this review were taken on the same day within an hour, yes i'm aware it can change daily but listen, there is a big difference between 1.7 and 4 to 8. I'm not fasting, i'm joyfully eating and at a very happy and healthy 1.7 mmol/l. No Ketoacidosis and no rushing to A+E for me. I hope this helps to put some minds at rest and aids you in your decision. Keto is a fantastic way to lose weight (lost 6kg in 3 weeks so far) and also to rid your body of 90% of the crap food out there. Processed foods can kiss my a** and I hope they can kiss yours too.

You can't always trust on the day results with strips, but over a period of time they will give a good indication of your ketone level. Most of the strips I have bought in the past have come inside a sealed container, the problem with this is that they don't last long once unsealed, maybe 60 days before you cannot rely on their effectiveness, however they give you 120 per pack. This product however individually seals groups of strips inside the container, making the product more useful over the long term, if you are looking for ketone strips, these are the ones to get.

Die Ergebnisse der Streifen waren genau. Ich konnte somit täglich überprüfen ob ich weiterhin in der ketose war.

Die Beschichtung mit dem Reagenz ist bei 90% der Teststreifen nicht vollständig/mangelhaft. Alle benutzen Teststreifen waren unbrauchbar, entweder zeigten sie überhaupt keine Farbveränderung, oder sie waren im tiefbraunen Bereich, sodass man schon eine Keto Azidose vermuten konnte. Außerdem zeigten sie die meisten die Farbveränderungen nur in Teilbereichen an (was an der mangelhaften Beschichtung liegt), man kann also raten... Ich habe dann mit meiner alten Marke zusammen gleichzeitig die Tests gemacht, und die Ergebnisse waren dabei so unterschiedlich wie Tag und Nacht! Die einen korrekt, die anderen für die Tonne! Rausgeworfenes Geld! Hier bewahrheitet sich der Spruch:" Wer billig kauft, kauft immer zweimal!"

Diese Test klappen super. Wir machen aktuell eine Ketogene Ernährung. So können wir immer feststellen ob wir noch in der Ketogenese drin sind.
