Toss a coin to your Witcher, O' Valley of Plenty~
Simply put: This game is a masterpiece, quite simply one of the best games created of all time. Detailed: This is my third playthrough of the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, each being of a couple of so years apart, and I can confidently say that this game is truly a masterpiece. It has had me completely enchanted at each and every turn due to the game's sheer beauty and the developers meticulousness when it comes to creating a fully polished experience from the combination of endless side quests, an immersive main story and outstanding DLC. I originally played this on my computer through Steam, but when I picked up a Switch I had to pick up this game too. If there is one game development studio that even worth the money it is CD Projeck Red. Pros: ✔️ Complete character development, even the beggar on the streets has a personality. Each NPC reacts to Geralt differently, although usually with disdain. ✔️ It has an immersive combat RPG, a card game and interactive storytelling adventure all packaged into one triumphant hybrid. ✔️ Stunning landscapes and beautiful architecture with hundreds of unique and interesting items to find, use and sell throughout The Continent. ✔️ Beautiful graphics. I played this game on the PC and there were many times that I had to stop, just to take in and admire the surroundings. Whilst the quality is somewhat reduced for the Switch, it can be just as breathtaking. ✔️ Brutal and challenging combat against a huge plethora of foes, both humans and monsters with powerful finishers and multiple ways to approach each fight. Each foe has an entry in the bestiary so you can prepare for certain battles, if that is your style. ✔️ An engaging, heart wrenching, shocking, unpredictable main story line that leaves the player sad that it's over and happy that it happened. But it's replayable if you want to try different choices (Use New Game +) ✔️ Little choices affect the world in little but satisfying ways. Cons: ❌ All good things must eventually come to an end. Special Note for owners on other formats: If you're expecting the same quality of graphics as you'd expect on the PC version, it's important to taper those expectations. Whilst it's good, it's obviously not going to be 120FPS @4K. But do you otherwise get the full story and experience on the Switch? You absolutely do.

Dark Magic Indeed...
This is absolutely superb, a classic and awesome RPG with a great story and beautiful soundtrack brought to a portable console that quite frankly it shouldn't be possible to run on at all, an amazing achievement. Okay, graphics have obviously been downgraded but in handheld mode it actually looks fine and frame rate is mostly pretty solid with just occasional problems, it's only when docked on a big screen TV that it does in places look very rough compared to a proper "home" system, but you know what.... Who cares? Graphics do not make a game, I have played many games on the PS4 that look great but are actually awful games to play. The Witcher 3 Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch is an incredible opportunity to play one of the very best games in the last decade, to even get this game including All DLC on to a 32gb game cartridge for a portable console that gives the option of playing both at home and on the move is simply magnificent and it deserves to be in every Switch collection because it shouldn't really exist on this system, it is indeed some sort of dark magic. Please support the fantastic development team of CD PROJEKT RED and the team at SABER INTERACTIVE for bringing this amazing game to the Nintendo Switch and definitely get the physical copy version where you will receive a nice package with a map, a compendium, some stickers and even an actual thank you note from the developers for purchasing the game, classy things like this are so rare these days. Prepare to lose 200 hours to this brilliant adventure, 5 stars all day long. UPDATE: The game is now even better after the v3.60 patch which has added graphics options that considerably improve the experience particularly in docked mode. I'm over 120 hours in and still only about halfway through it... Just buy this game above any other title it's simply a no brainer!

Don't miss out on this experience!
Unboxing: I wont spoil the fun, but if you get the physical copy of the game, it comes in a slightly larger box with a few goodies inside. Nothing major, but a very nice touch. Graphics: YES the graphics are a step down compared to other versions, you will notice the lower frame rate at times, and the adaptive resolution at times makes the game look like you are watching a internet video at 144p. But for the ability to play this incredible game on the go, its worth sacrificing the graphics. Note: You can even turn off Motion Blur and Blur in the Post Processing Graphics Menu! Oh and the subtitle text is every slightly too small, menu text is a good size tho. Controls: Coming from the PC version, it's taken a few hour to get to grips with the Switch version in portable mode. But there hasn't been anything so far that I have been unable to do playing on the Switch version. Combat, swimming, horse riding, all feels natural when playing portable. Story: I won't spoil it but it still stands to be the best game I have personally every played. Don't skip the cut scenes, just get lost in the experience! Conclusion: So far the only thing that really stands out is the adaptive resolution scaling, it really does make the game at times look like a 144p internet video. But it does not take away how truly amazing it is, that the developers put time and effort in making this game possible on the Nintendo Switch. Happy Hunting!

The return of The Witcher 3... for me
I purchased The Witcher 3 initially on PS3 and played it through the main story with no DLC. I have now played the Nintendo Switch version that includes all DLC and the game is fantastic. There is so much to do with so many different quests all over the map. A lot of them are interesting but there are a few that could have been cut without anyone missing them. A couple of points to be aware of are that there isn't much to do outside of missions and a few errors occurred where I had to load my last save i.e. obstacles being where they shouldn't have been or a clipping error happened that shouldn't have. Overalls great experience with a few technical errors.

Quick delivery
Came the next day after ordering, all in great condition. Perfect to just plug in and play. I love the tv show so how’s this game rate against the show? The graphics on this game are out of this world really really great surroundings but on the Nintendo switch these are down graded to fit the console, but to be totally honest after 10 mins playing you don’t Notice the loss in graphics but it is worth it to having it portable. The character play is good, great fight options and good character development as you play through the game. Makes this game very very addictive you will lose days playing this game lol. The story that runs through this game is good matches the tv show for story content with twist and turns and unpredictability it’s great definitely gets you hooked. This game also has a cool sound track in the background. Great game a must have on every games shelf.

Great game, crappy graphics.
Playing on Switch Lite: Not a review of the game really as The Witcher 3 is rated as one of the all-time greats but more about how it runs on the Switch. I expected worse visuals but the game looks terrible (updated to latest patch). In handheld mode it runs much lower than 720p (i believe just over 480p) and it's very noticeable, the game looks out of focus and blurry/muddy. Graphics of course don't make a game but The W3 did have amazing visuals and unfortunately, they have been lost here. The cut scenes look ok and this makes it even more jarring during gameplay. Looking at a lot of reviews I think some are viewing this game through rose tinted glasses, yes having the W3 on the Switch is a great achievement but it's at the expense of the game IMHO looking very sub-par. Hopefully a further patch will be released to help with the visuals.

Take note other AAA gaming companies
I bought this after owning the game on PS4. Still as amazing as the first time I played it in 2015. The graphics are quite amazing actually especially when you realise this is a playing on a portable device although comparing it to a PS4 yes it looks not so good; however, playing it on my Nintendo Switch Lite it looks good mainly thanks to the smaller screen so the graphics do look sharper. The frame rate is fine although I did notice some pop ins and some glitches but hey it’s on a portable device it’s not going to be perfection. As for the story well I bet most of you know the story and it’s just enjoyable as the first time I played it plus it comes with the two big dlcs which are great. Overall I would totally recommend this game and it is by far the best game on the switch right now. I just wish other gaming companies took note and bought their ports to the switch I mean if the Witcher 3 can do it why not theirs? Lastly the game came with a nice thank you letter from the creators of the game as well as a map of the world and some stickers which was a nice touch.

5 stelle strameritate

This is NOT Day 1 edition, as it only came with the case and SD card.
Just received it and its clearly not the Day 1 edition which is disappointing, but otherwise I'm excited to play it!
