You must vacuum the line sets. I had an HVAC tech inspect my work and sign off on the warranty. The cost you save on the DYI install pays for the unit. The outside unit is mounted on the wall directly behind my recliner in my man cave. I cannot even hear the faintest noise. A few years ago, due to hurricane flooding I had to replace the ductwork under my house at a cost of $6K. I should have done this project then and eliminated the ductwork. My central unit has been off for a week now, it is old but still functional. This unit has exceeded my expectations and eliminates issues I've had in the past with humidly in my crawl space.I live in Northeast Florida. This unit provides phenomenal cooling A+!

I bought this to replace our inefficient window A/C units. I did the installation myself, however it should be noted, I am certified in A/C, however all my experience in A/C comes from automotive. If you do not have prior knowledge of A/C systems, and do not have any AC equipment or adapters. I strongly suggest you hire a professional. To install this requires some special A/C equipment/tools, and requires installation of a new 220 volt service and switch. Once installed, it operates extremely quiet and cools our house very quickly. everything appears to be well built and good quality.
