Must have for troubleshooting
I’ve used these on boats and aircraft. Easy way to jump components or get power somewhere temporarily for troubleshooting.

Just buy this and throw it in the tool box and thank me later... ok?
I found these, not by accident, but by digging through my son (diesel mechanic's) tool box. I was trying to set the timing on his mother's 1957 MGA. The MGA has the timing mark under the car, so yes you lay under the front bumper with the engine running and point the timing light up in the engine. The MGA and a few other cars have their battery under the back seat. I needed to power the timing light and the cables were even too short to be clipped onto the fuse block in the engine compartment. I went digging through his tool box looking for a set of jumper cables to power the timing light when I found a rig like this. I used them to power the timing light, set the timing and put them away and got online to find them... found them on amazon... ordered them immediately, threw them in my tool box... I'll need them again and I won't have to borrow his.
