This does a great job of touching up scuff marks on black painted guns. Naturally it'll never look exactly like the original finish, but it'll protect the metal without looking bad at a distance. It might not be the kind of perfection one wants on a safe queen, but this is just fine for a gun that sees actual use.

I had several scratches on my firearm barrel assembly and this touched it up perfectly. I realized that you need to use it sparingly or it dries a little off. The first use, I used too much, and cleaned the excess off with some oil. Looks great now. I would advise that you make sure what you are using this for is indeed matte black, or as close to matte as possible, or you might run into an issue with the color matching perfectly. If you are using this on something that is indeed matte, use sparingly, and you will be pleased.

I went to use this pen 2 weeks after the 30-day return time the paint is dried out I could not get it to come to the tip fully to beusable I shook it for 20 minutes no good everyone said it's a good product but I think maybe there's selling some older stock that's no good anymore I called the company they wanted me to return it and all this for this little pen and then maybe they would approve a refund after that maybe so yeah don't buy this product or buy stuff from this company they don't stand by thier products they make it very difficult to get a return for a small amount and you don't even know if you're going to get the return they don't guarantee you're going to get your money back or a replacement it's all up to them

Awesome pen. Used to patch up part of my receiver. Make sure you choose the right one (gloss vs flat black). The material will protect exposed surfaces. Can be removed with enough elbow grease, but will hold up if the patched area isn't subject to extensive abuse. The applicator tip has a tendency to fall out, so just make sure you have the cap on when shaking it before you apply it.

It works. Be sure to clean the area well With alcohol or something similar. I disnt expect an exact match but close enough on Glock Gen 5 and S&W M&P 2.0. Shake the bottle well. It’s more like paint than gun blueing. Will see how it holds up. It worth the price.

It takes some time to wet your tip but you have to be persistent. Once it flows the coverage is decent.
