This hose reel has completely exceeded my expectations. As someone who has tried a couple of different models in the past, I always found the hoses to be too short with 50' reels. That's why I set out to find a solution with a 100' hose capacity, and this reel delivered. The build quality is exceptional, with incredibly strong springs that make reeling in the hose a breeze. Despite being pricier than most reels on the market, the difference is clear once you start using it. The investment is truly worth it, and you won't have a single regret after making the purchase. Highly recommend this for anyone needing a longer reach and top-notch quality in a hose reel.

I love this hose reel. I've owned a coupke different ones in the past and I've always thought the hoses were never quite long enough. They were 50' hose reels so it makes sense that they wouldn't be long enough. So this time around I set out to find one with a 100' foot hose or at least one that was capable of holding 100' of hose. This thing is well made. The springs inside are very strong. When it starts reeling the hose back in it feels like it's going to take me too. It is more expensive than most. But when you install it and use it, you're going to know where the extra money went and you're not going to regret the purchase one bit.

Took a bit of doing before I actually received this. It seems that the first one I ordered must have become damaged in shipping and was returned to Amazon. After calling to enquire, I reordered and a week or so later it arrived undamaged. This is heavy, make no mistake. What I really like about this though is the tremendous difference between the 'rubber' hose variety of hose reels vs. the other form(s) of hose reel (PVC or the like). The rubber hose is so flexible. I can pull it off of the reel and it just lays on the floor whereas, trying to unreel my previous 50' of hose (PVC) it would just curl and curl and create a lot of frustration trying to get it to full length. And then for rewinding. . . .another pain! This thing works great. Just have to listen for the 'clicking' to know when to get it to hold and the same for releasing. It was interesting to walk into my local BMW dealership and go into the shop portion and see these same reels on the walls of each of the mechanic's bays. Only 'downside' I see at this time is that the yellow comes off of the hose as you hold it to either extend it or retract it. Otherwise, this really filled a void. Like I mentioned, it is heavy. I mounted it on my wall up high and out of the way but I needed my hydraulic table cart to get and hold it in position. It gets heavier the higher you go.

Went with this product due to the description of this was a professional grade and heavy duty airline. The air fittings have failed after just 8 months, poor quality and the hose leaks tremendously from the fittings causing no air pressure in the line. Complete pain in the rear to have to go find a high quality airline to work with this reel. Shop is down until we can get a new line, nothing but a headache

Good reel but upgraded supplied hose to a better quality hose. The poor quality hose is the only reason why it's a 4 star

Has worked well for several times a week in the shop. no leaks. But the ratchet is sometimes hard to engage from the end beyond about 30'. jerking the hose to engage the ratchet retention mechanism from that distance and beyond is tricky because the rubber hose absorbs all the jerking. That is with any unit though. Having a second person near the hose opening jerk the hose always engages the ratchet. or pulling off the estimated distance near the hose opening and jerking it to lock it in prior to walking out the 30+' you need also works. The yellow hose does rub yellow on your hands but washed off with soap. after a few times of use, it seems to stop leaving yellow trails. I could think of no harm to a garage or shop that would matter if the corners, floor, or walls had yellow marks, but be mindful if you are running it over/around a car or inside a house.

Super sturdy, smooth retraction—great for heavy-duty use!
