Light weight strimmer well constructed.
This strimmer is very well made and robust for a domestic lawn but struggles for long grass. It is useful for edging and short grass lawns. The strimmer and charger are very well constructed and meet expectations for light use. The strimmer with battery are lightweight and can be used for the duration of full charge easily. The battery can be charged within about 45 minutes and can be used for about an hour. The strimmer can be cleaned easily.

If you have realistic expectations, this will be much better than you hoped for!
I have seen some reviews criticising this for not being a very good brush cutter which seems foolish as it is not advertised as one. It is a battery strummer which has styling with a nod to brush cutters. Mine was delivered 90 minutes ago, it took 5 minutes to put together as I had to find a screwdriver, it would have been 2 minutes if I’d had one to hand.I’ve tried it out on some fairly thick grass and, while it’s not the quickest, it cut it and is 50 times better than the Bosch battery strimmer that with those silly little plastic blades, that it has replaced. The battery came 77% charged and took about 15 minutes to charge to 100%.I have also ordered the Murray 44cm electric lawnmower which uses the same batteries. That arrives on Tuesday. I have bought it to replace a Cub Cadet self-propelled petrol mower with key start which is very heavy. When we bought it, we had a slope from the top of the garden to the bottom. Thanks to my Wife’s garden design, this is now steps which I now have to carry the Cadet up and down. I am not a delicate little flower but I can do without the weight-lifting. I am really looking forward to the new mower as it will be easy to carry between the 3 lawns. I am not an avid gardener but I like my grass reasonably short however, it doesn’t have to be stripy or as flat as a bowling green. If I’m as impressed with the mower as I am with this strimmer, I’ll be a very happy man.I have given Thickness and Sheerness 5 stars but I have absolutely no idea what these markings mean in relation to a strimmer.

For the price excellent
For a low price product this strimmer is greatIt isn’t overly robust and the battery life is average but for what you pay it’s worth it

Easy to use
The product is good but don’t expect an heavy duty cut, do not leave in charge when fully charged, the battery loses power, you have charge tgen disconnect, top up just before you use

Dubious at first......
Dubious.....I must admit I'm not a 'green' fan, so while looking the other day for a new strimmer, I must admit I did bypass this a few times, but using a filter I got rid of the cheaper ones as I've had enough of them breaking after a few years, but this one kept popping up, so I read the reviews and was seriously tempted, and I ordered....I received the strimmer in Saturday, extremely easy to put together, basically 2 items to add, the battery was 86% chargedWent out today to try it and I must admit I am very impressed, apart from the usual no plugging in, it is so much easier, granted it does slow down with very heavy grass, but it's going to really with an 18v battery isn't it.But for my smallish front and back garden it is totally ideal, and I have totally gone from sceptical to loving

Grass trimmer
I had been putting off buying a trimmer for some time but found this product which had good reviews and a reasonable price. I found it easy to assemble and to make the initial charge. It performs well. I am waiting for the hedge trimmer to come into stock so I can use the same battery on both appliances.

The line feed system is rubbish
I've used this product three times and each time gave up after 30-45 mins of trying to get the line feed system to work. When the line breaks, it is inside the feed gearing which means you have to remove the retaining clip, take out the spool, re-feed the line through the hole and reassemble. You start to strim again and the line breaks within 2 yards and you have to go through the whole dis-assembly, re-assembly process again. The button on the side of the hub works but when you use it to feed the line after a break, the line is so far inside, it isn't lined up with the hole so there's no chance of it feeding. Whilst the line-feed system is rubbish, the actual item is light, the battery is good and I like to look of it. However, as it's not fit for purpose, I cannot recommend it to anyone else.I've owned a Murray Lawnmower since March 2020 and it is brilliant; this is why I thought the strimmer would be good but I am very disappointed.
