Makes you a better welder. So clear
Best hood I’ve ever used hands down. For the price this is probably the best hood you can buy. Super clear and easy to use. Headgear works amazing and is comfortable for any head size, also super adjustable. So clear when welding, it makes you a better welder. Rivals 3M Speedglass

Nice With Caveats
Nice for a hobbyist, not really for constant use. What is a bit annoying is the head harness. It is fiddly to get adjusted. As other reviewers have mentioned, this part of the helmet seems overly complex and likely to break. Getting the lens out to put the supplied battery in is also a very fiddly process. It is connected by a very short wire to the side of the helmet, where there is a knob to adjust the darkness. This makes it hard the get the lens out. On mine, the battery was too low, and the helmet would not work. They did ship an extra battery, once fitted, it powered the helmet just fine. Despite these issues and at this price point it is a pretty good helmet for, say, a home workshop. I don't see it as something a professional would want to use everyday.

Unexpected high end quality and middle of the road pricing.
As a fitter that has been around hoods that can cost $600+, I was worried about the quality on this one but it was for my dad that’s a hobby/farm welder. He doesn’t need anything fancy and won’t spend hours and hours a day under the hood.I was really impressed with the field of view and once I put the cheater lenses inside of them; I was even more impressed. The headband is comfortable and the color is spot on while you’re welding. If my shop hood ever goes out I’ll likely buy one for myself. You can’t beat the price.

Easily the best bang for the buck on the market.
I'm going to give an honest review here. I've used various helmets over the years. Older style helmets solid lens, harbor freight auto-darkening, mid range, and top end name brand helmets. This one is probably the best helmet I've ever used, with a couple of asterisks next to that statement.First off, the lens. Clear and untinted with a wide view angle. You can see everything before welding. It gives almost the same view as if you were wearing a motorcycle helmet. It darkens very quickly, and with a range wide enough to weld at almost any amperage with the perfect view. The selection of weld/cut/grind modes seems to be nearly perfect in their function. Easily one of the best lenses and views on the market. This leaves us with the only downside, the strap. Keep in mind, this ain't a major downside. The strap is much better than any cheaper helmet by a wide margin, making it the best bang for the buck. The knobs to tighten it feel just a touch cheap, but work OK, and it is placed in a very slightly awkward place in the helmet. The only time you'll notice this is if you like to wear your band up higher on your helmet, as it'll put the lens close enough to your face when you flip it down to touch your nose. Almost all helmets do this, but even 1/4" of a difference is noticeable when it comes to strap placement. Simple fix, wear the strap lower on your forehead.

Won’t loosen up anymore,
The tightening mechanism for this welder helmet will mess up. It will stop tightening or it will stop loosening, but it will mess up on you so enjoy your helmet until that part messes up. I got in touch asking how to fix it. The offer was ,will send you a new free headset. The offer was withdrawn once they found out the order was placed over a year ago and they were giving me a link to buy a new headset. I only got in touch asking how to fix something that they are well aware is a problem with their product. They could make a tutorial on how to fix it instead they just wants you to buy a new headset for it.When I first bought this helmet, the knob in the back would not work from the get go. They sent me a new one and it worked fine until a week ago just all of a sudden quit loosening. Everything else works fine except it is now super tight on my head being very uncomfortable.
