What attracted me to these in particular was the inclusion of 2.5mm & 3.5mm sizes. These come in handy if the hex slots are starting to round out. The inclusion of a 10mm is also a good feature. Wasn’t expecting the earth in terms of quality but I’m pleasantly surprised. A good indication of a decent set of hex keys is that the hex ends aren’t overly chamfered; & I’m pleased to say these are pretty much flat. The key holder is well made & well thought out. It also has a hanging loop, another handy feature. I guess if I was being picky I’d say the addition of a 7mm would pretty much make this the perfect set. But to be fair, 7mm is a rare size, vehicle disc brake mounts are about the only place I’ve seen them. All in all, very happy with them.

I haven't used these yet, but after holding them they do appear to be a quality set of keys. the metal looks and feels like quality and yet they were not premium price. If they turn out to be too soft I will revise my review, but at the moment I believe they are going to be fine and sturdy.

Ideal for around the home

I had been having trouble with a 2mm hex screw, the Allen keys in my tool box were the worse for wear and due for replacement. This set seemed ideal - even had two keys smaller than 2mm. Fully expected that the key was so small it would bend or break but it proved to be ideal for the job. I have thrown out the old ones and the Presch set looks as if it will be very durable as well as useful. Amazing value !

In commercio a prevalere sono i chiavini di bassa qualità e con una lunghezza insufficiente a raggiungere brugole talvolta in posti un po' scomodi. Quando ho trovato questo prodotto l'ho acquistato senza pensarci troppo su e non ha deluso le aspettative. La custodia in cui sono risposti è ben realizzata ed il fatto che si possa aprire ne facilita l'estrazione oltre che ad essere stampata con una buona plastica che nel lungo periodo non ha presentato crepe né tantomeno giochi o persino la rottura della cerniera. I chiavini sono tanto solidi quanto flessibili se sollecitati in maniera importante, si piegano in maniera elastica senza subire deformazioni e sono costruiti con delle buone tolleranze che garantiscono la permanenza degli stessi nella sede dell'esagono senza mai perdere il contatto. Molto apprezzata è anche la geometria sul lato più lungo per raggiungere viti in posti poco comodi ammettendo l'uso degli utensili con un'inclinazione rispetto all'asse della vite. Hanno un buon rapporto qualità prezzo, consigliati specie in confronto a marche più blasonate che costano molto di più ed a volte deludono per robustezza.
