Summit Chemical Company Pond Mosquito Dunks - 2 Pack

We usually avoid the backyard this time of year because the mosquitoes are so bad. With just half a puck, this stuff helped us take back our outdoor space. I love that it is safe around pets and kids and super simple to use—truly a game changer!

I bought these Mosquito Dunks to start the summer prevention process. I drop these in areas around my home that I know hold standing water most of the time. In my area, mosquitoes are a problem. I have used these in the past, and I’ve found they are effective and create a noticeable reduction in the bug population around my home during the summer months. They are a reasonable price, they have no odor, and the usage instructions are very easy, just drop and go! This is an easy and effective way to help control mosquitoes if you can’t remove standing water around your home.

We live out in the country and about 7 of our acres are protected wetlands. This is a breeding ground for mosquitos. These are so helpful and not toxic for our precious wild life. Recommend you give them a try.

Works AMAZING! Put in 5 gallon bucket filled 3/4 away with water, two handfuls of dead leaves two handfuls of fresh grass throw in one dunk. Cover with screen so small animals and birds don’t get in. We have a three-quarter acre yard and I swear not a single mosquito bothered us last year. We put these on opposing sides of the yard outside of the range of where pets could get to them. I changed 2/3 of the water & added a new dunk about every 45 days. ZERO mosquitoes in the yard. This worked far superior to spraying ( which kills honeybees, which means your vegetable garden and your flowers don’t bloom) , fire bombs, electric mosquito traps… This blew them all away. Could not believe how good it worked doing it again this year.

We have drainage lines in our back yard where mosquitoes lay their eggs during the warm season so we are tormented by mosquitoes. I bought this product, wrapped a disc in cheese cloth, and then hung the disc in cloth from the grill that covers the opening. The disc lays in the water. Within a day the mosquitos were gone. It was incredible. I plan on changing the disc every 30 days. Maybe during summer months when it does not rain I can do it less often. I think this is a great product and I am very happy that I tried it.

I used this in a jug of water to try to treat gnats in houseplants. I thought it would be easy to apply because I thought it would dissolve in a jug of water but it didn’t. I think you have to let it sit longer than what I did. That would be good if using it in standing water outside. Good value for money. It was not effective for what I was trying to use it for although admittedly I was going off script with the product.

FUNGUS GNATS ARE A PROBLEM IN POTTED PLANTS WHEN BROUGHT INDOORS IN THE FALL. YOU TAKE ONE OF THE DUNKS, CUT IT IN 4'S, TAKE ONE OF THE 4'S AND CRUSH IT UP AS FINE AS YOU CAN GET IT. THEN PUT IT IN A JAR OF WATER OVER NIGHT. NEXT DAY POUR THE MIXTURE OVER THE SOIL IN THE POT. THE BACTERIA IN THE DUNK WILL KILL ANY EGGS THE GNATS HAVE LAID. STICKY TAPES HUNG FROM THE PLANTS STEMS OR PUT ON SMALL STICKS AND POKED INTO THE DIRT FOR SUPPORT WILL GET RID OF THE ADULTS. IN 8 DAYS OR LESS THE GNATS WILL DISAPPEAR AND NOT RETURN UNTIL OF COURSE WHEN YOU PUT THE POTS OUTSIDE FOR THE SUMMER AGAIN. I'M DOING THIS IN MICHIGAN AND OUR COLD WEATHER LASTS FOR 6-7 MONTHS. I RECOMMEND USING THE DUNKS. THEY ARE THE BEST THINGS I HAVE FOUND THAT ALLOWS MY WIFE AND I TO ENJOY OUT PLANTS YEAR ROUND INDOORS AND OUT.

蚊が増え始めたのでchatＧＰTに相談してコレが一押しだったので試しに購入してみました。説明通りに使ったものの蚊が減った気もしないし、あっという間に溶けて雨の度に追加で設置して手間がかかる割に蚊の対策にはなってないように思った。もっと上手に使える人にはいいだろうけど私はもう買わないかな。

Perfecto para lo que toca. Lo utilice en un estanque de riego, donde había muchas larvas ya que el agua no se recambia demasiado. Ya no quedan larvas, el producto cumple las expectativas, una amarilla tiene un buen tamaño y alcanza para un mes. Muy contento con la compra.
