Pure Original Ingredients, Celery Seed, 365 Capsules

Bought this to see if it could replace an over-the-counter medication I use for gout. It works for me! The product is nice and fresh too, your nose will tell you it's so.

Great supplement, good but - large bottle. When I was researching how to lower inflammation and pain caused by inflammation discovered celery seed is excellent as a blocker to the pain. Eating Celery is also excellent but the leaves are the best part of the plant. I buy the celery stock with lots of leaves at Farmer's Market, great in salads better than lettuce! No carb or low carb diet is the best removal of inflammation.

Honestly, the best thing I can say is that I have no complaints. It's pretty hard to guage the effects of such a subtle product. I will say, however, that its a good price and it lasts me quite a while.

I purchased this product along with tart cherry juice concentrate following a recent situation with my foot. I couldn't step down on my heel without excruciating pain. The foot became red, hot to the touch, and it swelled greatly. Someone suggested that it could be a bout of gout, which is an arthritic condition. I know I have arthritis in my knees so it seemed like a likely diagnosis. I read that tart cherry juice concentrate and celery seed extract are often recommended for gout, as well as other joint problems so I thought, "What do I have to lose? I love cherries. It might help my arthritic. And, celery seed extract is also supposed to be good for genito-urinary conditions and I'm prone toward kidney stones due to medulary sponge kidney. // When I opened the jar of celery seed extract capsules, I was immediately impressed with the pleasant, earthy aroma. I had an intuitive sense, "This is good for me to take." // All of the symptoms have relieved. The foot is no longer swollen or acutely sore and I haven't had a replapse. My intention is to continue to take both products indefinitely to veer on the safe side.

I had an interesting experience. I opened up the bottle and the insides of the capsules flew everywhere. It was over the freshness seal, counter, other capsules. I am not sure how many are broken in there but several blank capsules are in there for sure. I didn't capture the mess, but I took a picture of at least half of one of the empty capsules. Not sure where the other half is.

I take a single capsule, not necessarily every day, but probably most days. With the 365 capsule count in the bottle, I expect the quantity to last a long time. Most of the time there is no after-taste, although some days (depending on what else I have eaten) there is a faint aftertaste of celery in my burps, but it doesn't last very long. I love that the product is simply celery seeds and nothing else, you can see the celery seeds through the transparent capsules and there is not a bunch of other stuff like inert powder or anything.
