Surprisingly robust for the price
This tool is marked "made in Taiwan" and it's a surprisingly heavy and solid tool with real steel jaws instead of the thin split grippers you normally find on tap wrenches in this price range. The finish is a very nice satin chrome and the tool feels really good in the hand. The unusual T handle has two bars that can slide in opposite directions to provide you with a wide grip with a lot of leverage and some real torque when the situation calls for it. I was surprised by the tool's weight (more than a pound) and by the large physical size. It's hard to gauge by the photo. I'd bought this handle for smaller taps but it's so hefty, I'd be reluctant to use it with a 6-32, 4-40, or smaller tap because I'm afraid I might snap the bit in half. The jaws won't close down below 1/4 inch, so it can grip my 10-32 tap, but by the round part of the shank, not the square part, so that's not a solid grip for a tap. It won't grip anything smaller. This should not come as a surprise. The minimum jaw size is clearly marked in the description. The tap wrench's ratcheting mechanism seems to work very smoothly, but the direction selector ring doesn't click firmly into position. It's sort of mushy. However, the ratchet positions are clearly marked on the tool, so this isn't a problem either. Finally, the large threaded collett lock didn't turn smoothly when I first used the tap wrench, but a few drops of very light (hair clipper) oil made the collett lock turn smooth as silk. Recommended for use with fractional taps larger than 10-32.

HEAVY DUTY. Surprisingly good quality for the price.
I was a little apprehensive to purchase this without reviews. Thankfully Eastwood is well known. The tool is a little bigger and heavier than I thought. The knurled area is about an inch diameter. It seems to be hard chromed and does not look like it’ll chip anytime soon. The double handle extends in opposite directions up to about 12” long adding a lot more leverage if needed. The threads are also pretty smooth. The ratchet works as intended. So far I’m very pleased with the tap wrench. Will upload some pics soon.

Not anything bad to say about it
I'm a tool maker and bought this for a shop tool. For the price it does everything I expect it to do. Also for the price well built. Easy to use, has a center in the back if you need it. If you have big fingers you'll adjust the ratchet when you tighten it sometimes. That's the only ding I can think of, I've been using it for a couple years. It won't replace some of your tap heads because it's kinda thick, but does the job it's tasked for well. Solid shop tool.

Pleasantly Surprised
When I ordered this I thought it would end up being like every other ratcheting T-handle thread tap wrench. Boy was I wrong. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is much beefier, and better made than any other one on the market. Over the years I have purchased many different t-handle tap wrenches, and most aren't made very well or don't last very long. This is is around twice as heavy as any other one I've owned, and it's the only one with TWO handles. When you pull the handles in opposite directions they make one very big handle, which gives you tons of torque. I am really looking forward to use this on my next project. So happy with this purchase!

Easy to use
Quality made. Best ratcheting tap handle I've ever had.

Better design
I love the design of this tap wrench. The ability to telescope the handles makes it useful across a variety of tap sizes and hole conditions. Just a well thought out design.

Not impressed
The ratchet part worked a few times. Now it barely ratchets and is almost impossible to switch direction. Don't bother contacting seller because you won't get a response.
