Best Maid Sour Pickles 1 Gal 18-22 count

I got these and had a few buddies try them with me. The puckered up and started stomping their feet. Very sour but it's oh so good

Been looking for real sour pickles since del monte made the horrible decision to discontinue making them. These are not quite as good as the ones del monte made but the closest i have found so far. Too bad you can only get them in a gallon jar takes up a lot of room in the fridge and will last forever with one person. The pickles are huge like deli dills. Best pickle in a tuna sandwich imo. Also great in potato salad.

I am literally really pissed off, every best maid jar huge gallon size with pickles sour pickles any pickle you name it from this company, and when you lay the jar down sideways it leaks everywhere. I have a pickle fridge raider in my office because I’m a go Freek I have sour best mate I have regular best magi because your best me your name in any other jar but anything sling sideways with Best made leaks unless you tighten it like you are. I’m literally pissed off as I went in there just now at 2 AM and the sour pickles that I had earlier is all over my floor in my office because I laid the jar sideways in the fridge raider and if you don’t tighten it like you know what, it leaks everywhere so I’ve got a quarter of the juice now full jar pickles I am super pissed. crappy design if you ask me.

Oh! How the pickles brought back childhood memories. The taste is so good and they’re delicious. Great size and worth the money. Sour pickles are very hard to find these days.

They are sour alright. Next time I will look for half-sour. Good price and a good dietary supplement.

I have searched and searched for that real sour pickle that I grew up on in the 1960s and 70s that you bought off the food truck. This is close but not exactly it but it’s what I can find now and I really like it and the kids like it.

I had bought these pickles in a jar at a local supermarket. They were exactly what I wanted. I grew up with sour vinegar type pickles and loved when I found them in the deli dept in the supermarkets. Since the Pandemic that has stopped. But I found this brand at the local Aldi. They were wonderful. When I went back they no longer carried them. I was tickled when I found them on Amazon and bought a large jar. They taste funny. Almost as if they didn't rinse the cleaning agent from the plastic jar. I don't know if the taste is there because it's in plastic and not in glass, or if it was because they were delivered in the heat and it somehow affected something in the plastic that leached into the pickles. On another note, the jar is clearly marked 18-22 pickles. There were only 14, but good sized, so while not the number stated, it was okay. The jar said to refrigerate once open but it was too large to fit in my fridge so I had to transfer the pickles and brine to another sealable bowl. The only disappointing thing is that funky taste and smell which I'm finding hard to get around. I've popped them in the fridge hoping that once really chilled it will dissipate. If not well I won't be buying them again.
