Fixed my r53 mini
Fixed a common issue with the r53My old resistor had burnt out and this was a direct replacement. A year on and still working as it should

As described, and worked which was a bonus as it's was a nightmare to fit due to location on the car!!

Ideal replacement
Far cheaper than buying a whole new fan pack, I thought the spot welding of the wires to the resistor body was a bit suspect but 1k miles later it is still holding, if it fails then I will update this review. It is possible to remove the fan assembly without draining and removing the radiator, undo its bolts and gently lean it forwards, this will make enough clearance to slide the fan assembly upwards.

Good part!
Not the most fiddly swap over, but time consuming to get rad out and fan housing off. Part itself works flawlessly, just wish could be fitted in situe
