Gear Aid HEROCLIP (Mini) Carabiner Gear Clip and Hook, for Hanging Bags, Purses, Lanterns, Strollers, Tools, Helmets, Water Bottles, and More

I bought three of these, I large and 2 medium after I saw them featured in photographer, Thomas Heaton's YouTube channel talking about his 'non-photography' gear. Seeing them it occurred to me there have been far too many times I've been in situations where it would be SO handy to be able to "hang things up", whether that is out and about doing landscape photography and I don't want to put my gear/bag on the ground, or one of those annoying times when I'm in a motorway services toilet and there's NO HOOK on the back of the door because IT'S BEEN BROKEN OFF. I've not used them in anger yet but I've tried them out at home and they do precisely what they are supposed to do. They might be a LITTLE expensive (it'd be nice if there was a discount for buying multiples, just saying guys) but they are well made, sturdy, versatile and lightweight. I'd recommend them

Very handy, particularly when travelling. I bring it along in my bag as part of my Everyday Carry (EDC) and there have been many moments where it has come in handy e.g.: keeping the bag off the ground, hanging clothes at the beach, attaching things to the a bag, or even as a hanger for a basic clothes rack.

I also have a medium one of these, but got this for a bit more flexibility. The idea is good. It functions as a carabiner, but it also has flexibility for being able to hang it in different places. The first thing I noticed was how pathetic the spring clip was. It just didn't feel strong enough to keep in place securely. That was disappointing, but I pulled out one side of the clip and bent it back a little, greatly adding to the springiness, so now it works much more like you'd expect.It's a bit pricey, but it does something that other carabiners don't do, which is useful.

Brilliant little bit of kit. Multi use. Good quality. Will be buying more.

Great for travelling.Put it on my bag and was able to put my back securely everywhere I went on holiday.I even used it to hold my bag/backpack to the back on my suitcase when I was travelling on and off the plane.I bought it to use on the plane. I wanted to attach my bag to the plane tray. I wasn’t able to do that but could attach it to the metal ring.It also stopped me loosing my bag under my seat on the plane.Great idea.I did initially get the larger one but that was twice the size and I quickly realised that the smaller one was be best for backpacks.If you want a more substantial hold then yes go for the larger one. The smaller one helps my full backpack no problem, and was also small enough to be discrete.Very happy with the product. Looks like it will last a long time too.

Perfect clips with great functionality. I wish I'd found these ages ago. I bought two sizes. Love them. They're a great design, they look good and are easy to use. Good build quality and secure. Would recommend.

I really like heroclip carabiners and this is the perfect size for a small sling bag. Great colour. Reasonable value for money but once you have it you'll realise that it was worth it. Really good quality and easy to use. Would very highly recommend.

Gets a little of hype but not found it much more useful than a regular caribina - except when going to the loo in grim condition on a train.
