Corsair Quality, in and out
Once again, Corsair never ceases to amaze me. Love the design and quality of this flash drive. I bought this because it looks very sturdy and wanted something to use as my main portable storage for school (and to keep on my main key ring). The only thing that bugs me about it is the size. It's a very well designed drive in and out, but being so large and heavy makes it really stick out on my key ring. I'd easily pay more if I could get this drive in a shortened length; say about, 1/2 or 3/4 the size of this one. Still a great flash drive if you want something reliable. Also noting that the black paint obviously will chip and scrape off if you have it on a key ring. I've had mine for about 2 months now and it's a little dinged up. Still love showing off how tough my flash drive is, which catches the attention of anyone from office workers, to my outdoorsy buddies who appreciate anything that's made tough. Pros: Very Sturdy, rugged design Probably the toughest flash drive on the market Great price for the quality you receive Cons: On the large side, would much rather a compact version Black paint chips off

A great drive for important backups or for moving important data from one location to another.
This is a very good flash drive. I love the fact that it is waterproof and basically indestructible. If you are looking for a flash drive to back up very important data (I use it for family pictures as a second backup) I highly recommend picking one up. I found that the 64gig is reasonably priced for a drive with the perks the Corsair Stealth has to offer. Further, the feel of the drive is very high quality. It has weight to it. When holding it you get the sense of its strength. It is a 3.0 drive which is important when moving data quickly. Make certain you have 3.0 capability on your computer in order to use the speed this drive has to offer. As my data builds up I will purchase one with more gigs. I'm even considering buying one for my Mom and Dad. All in all I feel this is one of the best flash drives I've ever purchased. There are other drives out there that offer the strength and speed the Corsair Stealth has to offer, but I find this one to be aesthetically pleasing and super strong. I am repeating myself but it is that good of a drive. Pick one up to save import data or to safely transfer data from one location to another without the worry of losing a thing.

Great drive with one fixable flaw
I just got this today and the speeds seem alright. I am using USB 2.0 and I have not ran Black Magic speed test on it or anything but it seems to be average or thereabouts with the 20 million other USB 2.0 drives I have lying around. What sets this apart for me is the durability and the capacity. I Purchased (for me) a monstrous amount of space that will allow me to create bootable volumes for diagnostic purposes as well as having PLENTY of room left over for other random files. As others have mentioned, it's pretty big in terms of physical size. It also stick out a bit longer than most USB drives, but this isn't most USB drives. Had I wanted smaller drive I would have looked elsewhere. But the durability for me is more important than small form factor. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because there was absolutely zero lubricant on the threading of the drive as you screw it into its "tough tube" for lack of a better term. I can understand to a certain degree why a liquid would not be applied to a flash drive. However, When you are screwing it together a sound feeling like fingernails on a chalk board is made. The threading is VERY fine and a distinct metal on metal noise is made when screwing it in. What I have done to remedy this: I applied a very small amount of silicone grease to the threading, and opened and screwed the drive in and out several times. Picked up the grease super cheap a few years ago for a flashlight with the same issue. Safe for electronics and you need minimal amounts. I used a toothpick to apply it. If you happen to run your fingers on the threading you really don't get grease on you. The difference however is night and day. No more metal on metal noise/feel. This also helps preserve your O-Ring that makes this thing waterproof. Again I realize this may just be a personal preference - But I figured this might be worth mentioning for prospective buyers or current owners who feel the same as I do.

Amazing product, pretty large though
This is a fast, robust, Zombie Apocalypse surviving USB key. It looks cool, is made from extruded and machined aluminum - with aluminum end caps (wish these were rubberized) and O-ring seals. The labeling on the outside, well, those are cheap decals that fell off in a few days of use. The name/logo should really be laser engraved. Without the decals, this could pass for a waterproof case for a couple of cigarettes or a cigar butt. One of the end caps is designed to hold a key ring, wrist strap, etc. Only the end cap with the key-ring/lanyard hole can be removed. The ring that tightens the end cap is covered in knurled rubber, as is the matching faux ring at the opposite end. This helps prevent (but not stops) the cylinder from rolling around. Because it's rubber, it's also easy to grip. Gotta say, this is one tough USB key case! The key itself is pretty robust as well. It is plastic, but fits snugly inside the case, so it won't wobble around. I don't know why you'll we need a key this destruction and depth-proof, but I purchased it for the cool factor. If you're working a lot outdoors, have to ship USB keys, or want to store some valuable data on a drop and waterproof key, here it is. Live on a boat? Get a few!

I've had this flash drive for almost a year and it is a beast fast and extremely durable!!!
I'm a dj and I bought the 64 gb version of this flash drive and as I said it is a beast extremely durable and it transfers songs and videos super fast. I use it ever weekend for 8 to 10 hours every Friday and Saturday night I've dropped it in puddles and bounced it down stairs. That is the only flaw I wish it was d shaped or square instead of round it does tend to roll away frequently, it's also a little bulky to but hey to be as sturdy as it is what can you ask for. Other then that I'm extremely happy with this and I also like the fact that it doesn't have some tiny cap the cap unscrews and since it has a rubber piece only on one side it doesn't roll away only rolls in circles, so no lost caps. Also it does actually have o-rings on it so it is water proof as they claim. Don't hesitate if your looking for the most durable and reliable flash drive and your not concerned with it being a little bulky then this is the flash drive you want. Well made heavy duty construction.

Works great, and cheap for something built this well
This is a cool little usb stick. It is water proof shock proof, and incase of nuclear war it is EMP proof because it is full encased in metal. Could put this on a key chain and never worry about it getting damaged. Or if you have kids in school that need a usb drive but are hard on stuff this would be a good choice because its virtually indestrutable. As long as you don't drop it out the window of the 78th floor, or run it over with a bulldozer. It has pretty fast read and write speed. My old laptop has usb 2.0 and my new one usb 3.0 speed seemed about the same on both, I'm not sure if that is because it was running fast on the 2.0 or slow on the 3.0. I never ran a test on it to see the exact speeds but it is plenty fast for every day use at work or school.

A great drive . . . but a few things to be aware of
1. If you buy this with the intention of storing a Windows system image backup (as I did), you might want to do a little more checking. This drive comes formatted as FAT32. System image requires NTFS. The drive can be reformatted as NTFS but doing so may create some issues such as cross-platform compatibility, limited lifetime, etc. Do a little research and see if these issues are a problem for your intended use. Some recommend a small, external USB hard drive to store system images. If you have a safe and secure location to keep the larger size hard drive, then that might be a better option. For me, the smaller size was a selling point. 2. The case is very large and can block adjacent ports if they are closely spaced. I use it with a Tripp Lite U360-004-R USB 3.0 SuperSpeed 4-Port Hub without any problems. 3. The case is round and can easily roll off flat surfaces . . . usually into or under something that makes retrieval a pain. 4. If you keep your flash drives in a case (e.g., the Case Logic JDS-6 USB Drive Shuttle), this drive will not fit in any of the pockets. As a workaround, I place my drive in the middle, parallel with the spline, and close the case over it. Not an ideal solution, but it does work. None of these points are a deal-beaker for me. I am happy with my new drive.

Awesome and a true 64gb.
This thing is great. I can be quite the klutz always dropping things. I have dropped other usb sticks before only to find them with bits and pieces of corrupted data. The fact that the usb stick screws into the small capsule keeps the usb contacts clean from pocket lint etc. I have a 32gb and a 64gb and both work the great. They have a true 64 and 32 gigabytes as well. You'll know what I am talking about if you have ever bought another usb stick lets say 32gb and your computer says its only 29 or so. This will read what its suppose to. USB 3.0 speeds are blazing compared to USB 2.0. This is a trustworthy product that is very durable well worth the price. You can literally whip this thing into the sky and let it free fall to the ground and it will work fine afterwards. I highly recommend it.

Chiavetta molto affidabile e robusta! -- ---------------------------------- Purtroppo non ho avuto modo per testarla su USB 3.0, ma su USB 2.0 le velocità di lettura/scrittura sono queste (Crystal Disk Mark): Sequential Read : 31.422 MB/s Sequential Write : 21.618 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 30.886 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 1.779 MB/s Random Read 4KB (QD=1) : 2.984 MB/s [ 728.6 IOPS] Random Write 4KB (QD=1) : 0.032 MB/s [ 7.8 IOPS] Random Read 4KB (QD=32) : 3.245 MB/s [ 792.1 IOPS] Random Write 4KB (QD=32) : 0.058 MB/s [ 14.2 IOPS]

Go for it
It actually is air tight. Form factor is little bit bigger but the peace of mind it provides, is a game-changer. Aluminium design makes sure it remains cool, and rubber caps make sure it remains airtight. It is sturdy, as well as handy. Read/write speeds are also good. A bit pricy but it the security and functionality it offers justifies the price. We can attach it to a keychain too.
