6 ft Fiberglass Step Ladder, FS1406HD, Type IAA, 375 lbs

And yes, I’ve owned a few. For one thing, this ladder really is made in such a fashion as to support a big, big person. Very well constructed. And mostly heavy duty fiberglass so I don’t have to worry about shocks when working on electrical equipment up at ceiling height. Not saying it would prevent ALL stupid mistakes I might make, only that in addition to being very, VERY sturdy, it’s one more thing to help me come home safely at night. You can buy a less expensive ladder, but I’m not sure you could buy a better one. Highly recommended.

I love this ladder! It's sturdy and safer, compared to the standard six foot ladders I would normally use, as I have an extra foot to reach whatever I'm working on around the house. It's still a manageable weight and size but so much nicer to use around our home with 9 and 10 foot ceilings. I like the "pro top" as it's saved me or my husband from many trips up and down the ladder retrieving dropped items or fetching additional tools that we find we need. The steps are solid and wide enough to avoid foot fatigue or slipping and the bottom shoes sit securely to keep the ladder level. This is one of my favorite ladders of those we own. It's handy and well made and keeps this height challenged grandma feeling safe! 8-17-18 - I needed a shorter ladder and found this four foot one available through Warehouse Deals. I was a little skeptical about it's description as "acceptable" with numerous "cosmetic imperfections". I shouldn't have worried as it's in great shape (a few minor scuffs) and is just as heavily made as the seven foot one is. It doesn't sit completely level though, if weight isn't on it, but it does if I stand on it. So far, I'm very happy with it and it looks perfect for jobs around the house like washing inside windows and cleaning areas that are a bit out of my reach. It's not as heavy or bulky to move about for me either, when I don't need the taller one. These are excellent ladders, in my opinion.

Wow! This is a seriously solid ladder. It is so stable and heavy. The best part is it is thin, so getting into a room in the hall way too some challenge, but because it is thin, it made it with little room to spare. You will not be disappointed with this ladder. Most highly recommend!

I worked construction jobs for almost 20 years and Louisville ladders were always our go-to because they're sturdy and durable. I purchased this for home use, general maintenance and whatnot. Having used these in the past, I can confidently say that this will probably be the last ladder I'll ever need to buy. Keep in mind that, while the ladder is 6ft when open, it is approximate 6'5" or so when closed, so plan your storage accordingly.

Outstanding ladder at a great price with no hassle delivery to my front door! I put it to use within an hour of delivery and my only regret is that I did not buy it a long time ago. The rubber feet of the legs make it perfect for using indoors with hardwoord floors or outside, if that is needed. My house has 12 ft ceiling so the 8 ft ladder was often times not tall enough; now I can reach as far as needed.

It pretty light for a big ladder and it allows me to reach the gutters and change light bulbs inside and outside the house. I am to heavy for other ladders which usually weigh a ton if they even support large people. The tilted rubber feet allows it to lean against the wall in the garage securely and safely; even if it did tip over the garage door track would stop it from falling down. This ladder is not tall enough to get me safely on top of the roof; but I probably should not be doing that anyway at my age.

Stable lightweight ladder that is easy to maneuver inside and outside. No issues, would buy again.

GREAT LADDELR. VERY STURDY AND A REASONABLE WEIGHT .

Sturdy and lightweight

estoy fascinada con la marca pues son muy seguras y resistente, además no me raya el piso de madera! estoy muy contenta con la compra

Ladder is perfect for all household tasks. It is sturdy and not heavy. The delivery service, however, was dismal. The ladder took more than 8 weeks to arrive after it was first ordered even though the Amazon sight showed it was in stock!

Works great and it's a wonderful quality. Very pleased with it.

This ladder looks quite strong and will be very useful around our home.
